22.01.2022 No need to join and connect these pesky earth wires, right? Even if it is a plastic fitting, the metal fitting down steam was not protected as continuity was broken. So silly and dangerous.

10.01.2022 It’s so important to have your existing wiring and switchboard check for compliance and safety purposes.

03.01.2022 Stage 1. Removing all of the existing circuit breakers in a switchboard in preparation for RCD/ MCB unit upgrade.

02.01.2022 We found this illegal control wiring setup this week. Single insulated green/ yellow earth wires buried directly below the plaster and used as live switch wires to control heat lamps. I’ve never seen this before. Removed them and installed double insulated switch wiring. Also found red SDI wires above ceiling used for both neutral and earth conductors. Removed all non compliant wiring, replaced unit and wired correctly. All safe now.
