23.01.2022 UPDATE: For those asking about our status during these strange times we want to give an update. We will continue to remain OPEN at a reduced capacity. First of all we are monitoring updates and advice from State + Federal Government. We will be adhering to Social Gathering Guidelines and strive to provide the safest environment possible. We ask that patrons remain home if they show ANY signs of illness. We will continue to update you as soon as we have information.... As we head into an unknown phase over the coming months. our goal is to look after our staff as much as we can. Harper would not be what it is without our family of staff and patrons. We’ve always prided ourselves in staying open whether there is 200 people in the venue or 0. Unfortunately we will have to push opening times back to 5PM and close early if trade is slow. We will be restricting the number of patrons inside the venue to adhere to Gathering Laws. If you do choose to come to the venue please understand if you are denied entry and if you choose to leave to smoke, you may not be allowed back in for a time. 20.01.2022 Harper’s (almost) Back First off we hope you and all your friends and family have been safe and well throughout the pandemic. While businesses begin to reopen we wanted to reach out and say we will be reopening. We’re aiming to open for 50 patrons as resections ease on the 22nd of June. We will make sure the venue is safe and compliant with government regulations to ensure everyone’s safety. All we ask is you do the same for us and other patrons.... As businesses around Chapel and Melbourne come out of stasis they need your support and understanding more than ever. Please support any and all businesses around you that you care about if you are able to do so. We’ll update you as we find out more from the government. With the fantastic news that Melbourne is ready to come alive again, we're super excited to announce that we'll be opening our doors again next Wednesday, 4th of November! We'd love to be able to have a beer with you this week, but we've hit a couple of unforeseen road bumps and we'd love to be our best selves by the time you come around.... Upon opening we'll be accepting walk-ins from 3pm - late, no need to book. We won't be actively enforcing seating times, but we hope you'll keep in mind that there may be groups waiting for a seat!
