16.01.2022 Alzheimer's and old age can be scary. Yesterday an elderly man walked into the Pharmacy. He didn't know where he was, he didn't know who he was. He wasn't known to us or any of our other customers. After speaking with him for a while he was able to locate his wallet which contained a pension card and therefore his name. We called the other local pharmacies and surgeries in the hope of finding some information about him. Luckily we were able to find a contact number for a fa...mily member and soon the elderly gentleman was back in the care of his loved ones. Alzheimer's can be frightening for those who suffer from it as well as their loved ones. We were thankful for those in our local community who worked together to assist this elderly man. We love to see our local businesses working together for the benefit of our community. Good care always comes first! Thank you Earlwood! (This is a stock photo, not a photo of the man in the story)
