The end of week 1 for children, a BIG week for preps and foundations and theyre all tired after the first full week of school. Heres an idea to congratulate them for a successful first week. Ingredients ... Homemade pizza, homemade chocolate sundaes for desert and a movie of their choice. Method 1. Get the family together. 2. Get the kids helping you to make a simple homemade pizza. We get a base and pizza sauce from Aldi, some ham, capsicum, mushrooms, olives and cheese). Eat pizza! 3. Then surprise the kids with decadent homemade sundaes for desert (vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce, add a flake or kit kat and dress with sprinkles). Acknowledge your child or children for getting through their first week and congratulate them. Eat sundae (seconds allowed). 4. Watch a family movie together and have some family time (I think Ill be watching either Spiderman or Diary of a Wimpy Kid). Well done to all the kids and also the foundation and prep mums. CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS Makes 14 / Prep 20min / Cook none! - (Egg free, gluten free and vegan) - 14 cup cocoa powder - 34 cup crunchy natural peanut butter - 34 cup rolled oats (if gluten-free, use brown rice or quinoa flakes) - 150g Medjool dates, roughly chopped - 80g vanilla protein powder - 14 cup desiccated coconut 1. Blend all ingredients, except desiccated coconut, until combined adding water 1 tbs at a time if needed. 2. Form into balls and roll in coconut. Refrigerate for an hour before serving. Note: 1 ball = 1 snack

05.01.2022 Places Available - School holiday program I have a couple of places left for the school holiday program. - Flexible - no need to book and pay ahead of time if you arent sure what your work schedule is... - Affordable - $30 a day or $45 a day for 2 children. - Pay only for the days of care, so if you cancel or cant make it if your child is sick or your work schedule changes, you dont get charged. - No need to stress if you are running late for drop off or pick up - no late fees apply. Costs are low as I dont have the overheads that the child care centres have and I offer a smaller, more personalised home environment that is comfortable and relaxed. Activities planned include a daily park trip to one of the Harpley Parks, a daily activity (baking, craft, LEGO, water play, games) and a child (G) appropriate movie during resting time or late afternoon. Note no Centrelink rebate as this is a private babysitting service. Capped at 5 children a day (2 are my own).
