21.01.2022 Face masks ! I never thought this would be something I’d ever need to be making but here we are ! Times are changing and like many people we are getting prepared.... I’ve been making 3 layer face masks, with super soft elastic for your ears. At the moment these are only available instore at Lilly & Wattle Co. , once I’m settled in the shop I may look at opening orders for them. Available in four sizes , 3-6years,7-12years, woman’s/teen and men’s. Lots of funky patterns and plain available too.

21.01.2022 Make up wipes are online for anyone who was interested.. In an effort to reduce my sewing waste I’ve gone through my scrap pile and made a bunch of reusable wipes. They are cotton fronts backed with towelling, overlocked and sewn to ensure they hold up in the wash. ... Completely random sizes and shapes I literally used whatever I could. 19.01.2022 I’m at Lilly & Wattle Co. today , finally have been able to go through all the unfinished projects in my cupboard like this Tea Party Dress I’ve also been doing some pads , nappy covers and rompers (all in stages so I don’t have to change the thread colour in my machine ) Hoping to be able to open up my website again very soon for some custom orders ... But just taking a little while to let my mind and body catch up as my year so far has been beyond busy. 19.01.2022 Thought I’d do a quick update ... I hope everyone has been keeping safe and well ! It’s been an interesting few months for all of us & id like to thank everyone for their continued support! ... I’ve been lucky enough to still have a day job through all of this , in fact things have gotten busier than ever for me as I’m now working a six day week at two different jobs Juggling this as well as 2 kids has been tiring so that’s why I haven’t been on here as much. It won’t be forever but for now I’m making the most of the opportunity to work. In the next few weeks things should go back to normal and I’ll be able to take some more orders I’ve really missed being able to jump on the sewing machine whenever I feel like it. 18.01.2022 Winter stuff As my kids have grown older the kinds of things I’ve made have changed , Harem rompers and pants were a firm favourite in this house when the girls were little but now we are moving towards leggings , jumpers and long sleeve dresses. My question is are the Harem Rompers still something you’d put on your bubs? ... They remain one of my favourite things to sew As the mornings are getting colder I’m reminded that I need to start getting some warmer fabrics so I’d love to know what kinds of things you dress your kids in during the colder months ? Below are some pics of previous years orders but I’m open to new patterns too !

17.01.2022 ***Re-useable make up wipes**** My scrap pile is forever growing I decided today to sort them out into what was still useable. What was left was a bunch of odd sized bits so I decided to pair them with some scrap toweling (from bibs) to make these washable wipes ! ... I was thinking of making some mystery packs up ? Would this be something you’d try ? I have heaps and heaps to make up in a variety of sizes and patterns if there’s enough interest

16.01.2022 Hi everyone ! So you may have noticed I’ve been a bit MIA at the moment and I just want to say I’m sorry ! Unfortunately for reasons out of my control I haven’t had as much time as I would like to have to be able to sew and create recently and trust me this is breaking my heart ... It’s got me thinking about the direction I want to head in going forward with Harpur’s Darling Boutique , as my kids get older and my sewing skill change I’ve found a love for making different kinds of things to when I first started. For this reason I’m starting fresh ! 2020 has been a challenging year for many of us , so I’m hoping to clear out my old market stock to make room for exciting new products. 14.01.2022 Nothing like a little bit of retail therapy to end a holiday! I’ve just had a couple of days away with hubby celebrating my birthday and our anniversary. I came across this cool FRIENDS fabric ! It’s a nice small print so I thought it would be perfect for Scrunchies but open to other ideas too ! I’ll get it all washed up and loaded on the website but let me know if you want anything !

01.01.2022 I thought it’s time to give everyone a little update on what’s been happening behind the scenes at HDB, as you know in September I opened a store Lilly & Wattle Co. in Toowoomba CBD with a couple of other amazing ladies and I’ve been pouring my heart into doing my best to make that a success. I also have 3 other day jobs () as well as sewing in my free time for stock to put in the shop. To say it’s been a tiring few months is an understatement but now that the busy seas...on is over I’ve been able to spend some quality time creating and after many many fails & trial and error I’m introducing the RAF (rude as f*ck) Strap on Clutch & RAF Goodie purse range (thanks to my FB friends for name suggestions ) I’m also doing some PG versions called Strap Clutches and Goodie Purses. These are fabric envelopes with PVC on the fron which is filled with various sequins and glitter These are now available online to order and the ones below are in stock now! , I haven’t uploaded all fabrics so please send me a message if there’s anything you are after I’ve got HEAPS !
