14.01.2022 During the Fairfax’s time at Harrington Park Homestead, interior designers updated the homestead. Many rooms now feature light fixtures with embellishments, and this bedroom in particular showcases a distinct lemon vine winding throughout the fixtures.

14.01.2022 Leading the design of this part of Harrington Park Homestead, Lady (Mary) Fairfax told the architect she wanted to lay in bed to see the stars. Both rooms at the western end of the house feature modern pyramid roofs with a pully system that opens the roof up to expose the sky above.

09.01.2022 The Harrington Park Homestead was the weekend retreat of the Sir Warwick and his wife, Lady (Mary) Fairfax. They often travelled the 60km from the city to Harrington Park on Friday nights before making their way back again in time for the working week. They would often host dinner parties and many dignitaries attended.
