22.01.2022 2014 - HDR Arrow Karts first year as a DPE Kart Superstore / Arrow Kart Racing factory Team and our first year with Pepsi Max support. Not only did we open the year with a bang at the Australian CIK Stars of Karting Series opener at Ipswich, with a debut Queensland State Title Win and two very quick KF1 drivers, but we went on to fight for the Championship, finishing 3rd (Jarryd) and 4th (Scott) outright in the Series by the end of the year. Simo # 21 lead our charge in TaG... Heavy throughout the CIK Stars of Karting Series and Victorian & Queensland State Titles. 16.01.2022 2015 - Wow, if I am honest, 2015 was probably one of the most successful seasons for the HDR Arrow Karts Team through the entire depth of the Team. It was also one of our busiest seasons for racing and logistics. Our Team truly spread the breadth of Australia from the North in Townsville, down through Mackay, Gladstone, Brisbane & Gold Coast in Queenslands South East to Albany in Western Australia. 2015 would also be the first year that our Team raced internationally at... SKUSA, when Declan & Justin took Team HDR Arrow Karts to Las Vegas, USA. Simo & Declan were winning everything in the Central Queensland Regional Series, Jake won the Queensland 3 Round State Championship for TaG Heavy, whilst Simo (2nd TaG Heavy) and Luke (2nd TaG Light) placed in the Series. Luke was also winning Townsville race meets throughout the year. Declan was constantly battling Jack Doohan in State and National racing, Scott won both the Queensland & South Australian State KF2 Championships and was Runner Up in the Australian Kart Championship, whilst Luke put HDR Arrow Karts on the Race of Stars GC Podium (2nd) for the 3rd consecutive year in TaG Pro. HDR Arrow Karts won the 2015 Best Presented Team in the Australian Kart Championship. Harrison was winning in the West and competed in both Junior National and Junior Clubman. Simo raced KZ3 regionally and Todd Hazelwood joined our Team in Geelong, putting the HDR #35 on the podium in his first AKC meeting and taking home an AKC Shield. HDR Arrow Karts & their Partners sponsored 2 of the 3 Queensland State Championship Rounds (Townsville & Toowoomba), and also took out program advertising for the Australian Kart Championship. HDR Arrow Karts (Scott Sorensen, Ben Nothling & Ben Foessel) also stepped up on the podium in the Sodi World Series Endurance Karting. Mikaela Stevenson became our first female HDR Arrow Karts Crew Chief. Scott McLaughlin took Lukes HDR Arrow Kart for a spin in Townsville and whilst all of this was going, Trevor was trooping the HDR Arrow Karts livery in Vintage Karting in his #8 Demon. Wow 2015, what a year !

Here are some images of our HDR Arrow Karts TaG Team - #2 Brendan Nelson and #4 Joshua Crossingham. This 2nd HDR Team and initial season / association with DPE Kart Superstore / Arrow Racing Karts was later formalised at the end of 2013 and in 2014 Harrington Doyle Racing became an official factory supported Team, which would go on to claim 2 consecutive... 08.01.2022 Over the years, our HDR Arrow Karts Road Crews (and there were a few) pushed through the nights, the days, fog, rain, floods, livestock, melted wheel bearings and countless mind numbing kilometers, sleeping in roadside camps to get our Karts, Pit equipment/tools, spares and marquees from one end of the country to the other. We were often racing at up-to 3 different venues on the same weekends, linking via phone and laptops to keep abreast of how all of our drivers were going, wherever they were. Ever grateful to these quiet achievers who always got us there and always made sure that our Team Partners and our Team were presented 120%.
