24.01.2022 There will always be a place for music... ( Andrew Mcconnell)

23.01.2022 For my students, please follow these simple instructions to have the best sound quality for Zoom lessons.

23.01.2022 The cello students at Eden Hills Primary did such an amazing job at the assembly For all of them it was their first time performing with their cellos. Proud teacher moment! (although I was probably just as nervous as they were!) I've been very excited about starting up cello lessons again at EHPS because this is my old primary school where my own cello journey began. I love seeing them so excited to learn and now also perform!

23.01.2022 Had a lovely night at the Zebulon: Album Launch Party. This community at Belly Dance Arabesque is so special to all of us. So much support, encouragement and wisdom within this space. There was some amazing talent here last night and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of that. Here I chose to perform an improvised piece joined halfway by a friend Jenny Vincent. Having only rehearsed together a couple of times, our energy still bounced off each other perfectly and turned out ...to be a very special performance. ft. Packed of Bhuja mix for authenticity

22.01.2022 We were treated to an impromptu performance from Harriet and Morgan. This was quite special

21.01.2022 Today is the last day to get those applications in for SA State Music Camp!

20.01.2022 Here's Jacqui performing 'A little reverie', accompanied by her father at Resthaven, in preparation for her first cello exam. Jacqui may be small and a little shy, but she performs with such confidence. She worked very hard for this exam and recently her results came back and she received an A+! Well done Jacqui! *posted with permission

20.01.2022 Some serious multitasking!!

18.01.2022 Such a lovely end to the year with our CELLObrations yesterday! Perfect weather and great vibes! Well done to those who came along and performed for us!!

18.01.2022 Well done to my students Amin, Carolyn, Holly, Amir, Daisy, Kooper and Jacquie, who all performed today for our Resthaven Concert. We had such an amazing supportive audience this afternoon, and all our performers did such a fantastic job, especially those who had never performed in front of an audience before! Well done everyone!

13.01.2022 Monday matters....

12.01.2022 Last practice before our end of year CELLObrations this weekend! Amir is a pianist and has been learning cello with me for just over a year. This was his first time playing cello with piano accompaniment, and all thanks to Ting from @ting.yun.piano.school for stepping in to help this happen! Ting has also been learning cello from me for a few months and I'm excited to see these two perform for us soon! Charlie the cat was a very supportive audience

11.01.2022 Holly has allowed me to share this video from our recital at Resthaven last month. Duets are tricky because not only do you have to hold your part on your own, but you also have to listen closely to the other player for intonation and timing. Holly has spent lots of time working on her duet skills and did a fantastic job with this performance! It was great to see all of my students performing pieces they had worked hard on throughout the term The piece we're performing is a French melody called 'J'ai du Bon Tabac'

10.01.2022 Excited to be a part of the Adelaide Summer Orchestra this year! Come along tomorrow night to see us perform Florence Price Symphony 1 and Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto 2 with Soloist Michael Ierace

07.01.2022 One of my young students told me today that when she looks at the bridge backwards, it looks like an angry skull face.. I guess I can see what she means?

05.01.2022 I had nothing to do with this but I approve (cellos are not easy to draw, I'm impressed!)
