19.01.2022 ***Important Junior Update*** Dear Hurricane Family, Due to the current restrictions implemented by the Premier and in consultation with the Health Minister, FC Noble Hurricanes have regretfully decided to cancel any junior competitions. In consultation with parents, committee and coaching staff all participation in any competitions involving players from all junior age groups will be cancelled. ... The club has decided that it is a) unethical to take any registration money leading up to a season that will be interrupted and most likely postponed or cancelled b) irresponsible (duty of care) to both players and parents/grandparents health to commence the season. Please be advised that all money will be refunded in full to parents who have already paid registration money. The club will be in contact with those families. This decision has not been made lightly but we believe it is in the best interest of all our playing and non playing members. We hope to come back bigger and stronger in 2021. Regards George Tsianakas President FC Noble Hurricanes

18.01.2022 It was great to have our State 1 Senior Ladies back on the track. Cold Wet Windy but they were there and everyone was excited and pleased to be back. Whilst social distancing is enforced and the club continues to abide by all our current regulations, it’s great to see our group going above and beyond with everyone involved wearing gloves. A club initiative ensuring we keep ourselves safe and protected minimising any hand skin contact of balls or amongst players. #fcnoblehurricanes #soccertraining #footballtraining #teamsport #noblepark #keysborough #accreditedcoach #safetyfirst #gogirls #femalesoccer
16.01.2022 Coaching is not just putting out the cones and setting up a training session. It’s important to get to know your players, know there drivers , build on their weaknesses and reinforce positive behaviours. A key to this is how we deliver our messages and vocal queues, even more so with our younger players. #cantwaitfor2021season #football #soccer #coaching #communityclub #cityofgreaterdandenong #noblepark #keysborough

11.01.2022 Meet Bianca Nguyen, recently married and still getting used to the new surname, just as we all are. Q. Occupation? A. Work for Victoria Police ... Q. How old where you when you started playing? A. I won't say what age because that would be revealing how old i am BUT this would be my 3rd year playing. Q. Who was/is your greatest influence? A. In life, i don't have a single source but in soccer Lauren influenced me to start playing soccer in the first instance and continues to motivate and positively influence me. Q. Who is your idol? A. In terms of soccer locally i love Ellie Carpenter, she's so skilful, fast and strategic. Internationally Ricardo Quaresma who is an amazing winger and of course Cristiano Ronaldo! (who doesn't!). Q. What does football mean to you? A. A constant challenge but one that makes me incredibly happy. I love all the people i've met and friends i've made. Q.What has been your favourite/ most memorable football moment? A.Last year joining the Hurricanes felt like coming home (cheesy i know) but the club culture was and still is so welcoming and supportive - especially of our women's teams. Its evident at any game (even at our very first friendly match) the amount of people there as supporters; players, coaches, committee members. That would never have happened at my very first club. Q. Previous Clubs and what brought you to the Hurricanes? A. My first introduction to soccer was with a really badly organised club - I'd never played so didn't' t know it wasn't supposed to be like that. Thankfully Megan and Louise were poached by Karina and the girls encouraged a group of us to follow, we are all grateful we did. Q. Do you have any game day superstitions you follow? A. I wear the same hair tie for every game. The morning of the game i am very routine in how i get ready. I also rock up to the game with my black coffee Q. Do you have a football philosophy and what is it? A. Just that you get out of it what you put in, i like to think that i try and work really hard at training and during games. I'm committed to my team and wouldn't want to slack off and let them down. Q. Who is the one Hurricane you could be isolate
