21.01.2022 Modlites Australia Breaking News! Unfortunately, due to the border closures that are out of our control and will remain in place for quite some time to come, th...e Modlites Australia Title that was scheduled to be held in August 2020 in Broome WA, will be postponed until the 2022 Race season. With that being decided we will look forward to the 2020/2021 Modlite Australian Title which will be held in South Australia at Murray Bridge Speedway on the weekend of the 26th & 27th March 2021. As always, we will continue to look forward to our Road trips with big adventures and even bigger race meetings. Take care, stay safe and we will see you at a race track soon!

16.01.2022 Big thanks to the crew last night Ed, Ben and Miranda thrashing between our last heat race to get the car on track for the B Main. The rain delay helped buy us some time to get things bolted on. Unfortunately couldn’t get up to a transfer spot but making it out there was a minor miracle with all the bent components. Thanks also to Klinton and Luke pitching in as well. Team spirit is well alive when others are under the pump.
16.01.2022 Next season can’t come quick enough
15.01.2022 This morning we got to launch the 2020/21 edition, big thanks to Western Truck Group, Mcloughlin Constructions and Evo Chassis for supporting the team.

08.01.2022 During this self isolation period I have had the opportunity to post a few photos and give some praise to a few people who played their own little part in the S...outh Australian Motorsports scene. Today I thought that i would take us back to 24.04.2010 to a place called Sunline Speedway Waikerie.... Well what's so special about that date you may wonder? The venue did not hold any national or state titles or even a club championship but they did host a demonstration class called Dwarf Cars. A guy named Ty Forrestal, who you may ask? Well for what it's worth Ty and his Dad Phil Forrestal are technically the people for creating the Modlite's in South Australia. A decade ago Ty (SA62), Phil (SA51), Sam Uhlworm (SA17) and Danny Tulla (SA7) motored around the Sunline Speedway to demonstrate the Dwarf Cars to a very curious crowd. I can remember being in the commentary booth with co-announcer Trevor Scott and we didn't know a lot about the cars but we tried our best to muddle our way through as best we could. Since that day the class has well and truly evolved into the ever popular and growing Modlites. From the transformation of the Dwarf Cars and into Modlites Ty was quickly joined by a trio of competitors S41 Brian Chadwick, S13 Mick Lewis and S52 Garth Raymond and from this point forward the class has never looked back! However at this point I feel that I needed to look back, right back to day one when Sunline speedway Promoters Robbie 'Wacka' Stevens and Jen Lemar gave these cars a chance to prove their worth and it is fair to say that the class have returned the favor in spades. The Sunline Speedway for me is the birthplace for Modlite's in South Australia, even though their first carnation was as Dwarf Cars. Since the inception of Modlitest the people involved in the class are passionate and dedicated. The class has grown to around 20 or so cars registered locally and they have visited all of the South Australian venues, where they have wowed the crowds with their close quarters and fastest to the rear racing. The photos below are of Ty Forrestal's very first outing in a Dwarf Car and his current Modlite. God bless and take care, PC :)
