Colour corrections due to home dye jobs are NOT CHEAP!! Hairdressers don’t say these things because we want your money, we are only saying this as we are trying to save you money and to give you the results that you are after. ... Anytime we start with a box dye/ anything other than professional hair colour, be prepared to have a slow and pricey process. Before you go and box dye your hair, just think to yourself will I ever want to go lighter? Especially if you’re someone who hates warmth in your hair. But also ask yourself is it really worth it? Am I willing to waste all that time my hairdresser has put into my hair? Those box dye colours are full of very harsh chemicals that will damage your hair and from that one little mistake that cost $12 will end up costing more money and a lot of appointments to get it back to what you started within even then we can’t guarantee it will ever get back to that.
