16.01.2022 Today is Lymphoedema Awareness Day. Lymphoedema is a swelling that occurs when lymph fluid builds up in the tissue under the skin. It may develop after surger...y or radiotherapy to the lymph nodes under the arm and surrounding area. Most people who have had breast cancer do not develop lymphoedema. However, it’s important to know the symptoms and your risks and what to do before and after surgery. 15.01.2022 Today we remember all of those who are no longer with us and all the victim-survivors of domestic and family violence. Everyone has the right to live without fe...ar of violence! We will not forget you. And we will not rest until we live in a world where everyone is free from gender-based violence. #nationaldomesticviolenceremembranceday #dvremembranceday #stopdv #supportwomen #womenssafetynsw

12.01.2022 The woman’s response: If she leaves Fear - will I be able to cope emotionally/financially? Will someone ever want to be with me? What about the kids? He'll fin...d me, I'll never get free of him. Shame/embarrassment/guilt. If she stays I have to try harder and make this relationship work. I love him and just want him to stop being violent. Kids need a mum and dad to be happy. He’s not always that bad - there are good times too. I must stop pushing his buttons. #leaveorstay
