23.01.2022 January 10th to 12th our friends at the Mountain Cattleman’s association of Victoria will be running their annual get together. They’ve got loads of horse events with something for everyone! Entries are open now for the cattleman’s cup and obstacle challenge so why not make the trip to beautiful Merrijig for a weekend to remember!

20.01.2022 We have made the difficult decision to Cancel our Challenge this weekend. For the obvious reason of Coronavirus and also the not so obvious reasons like not ...being able to buy food at the supermarket to cater or toilet paper etc. We are hoping this will all be behind us in time to run our Stockmans challenge Clinic in August. We will contact everyone who had entered to work out refunds.

Why not try a virtual cowboy race! ... The gals at Australian Extreme Cowgirls are running an online cowboy race. All you have to do is build the course at home, video yourself and send it in! The courses require minimal equipment and all the info you need is in the discussion page of the event
06.01.2022 This year we were lucky enough to have the Western Victorian branch of the Australian Stock Horse Society sponsor a high point ASH award with a rug and sash. Our well deserved winner was Ali Davies and Kardinia Hostess!

02.01.2022 2020 sure has thrown its fair share of challenges at all of us. Unfortunately not the kind of challenges where we get to ride ponies, cheer on our mates and have a beer and a boogie on Saturday night. With no end to restrictions in sight the HHC committee have made the decision to cancel our 2020 challenge. This was an incredibly hard decision to make, but we feel that all restrictions to public gatherings and border crossings would need to be lifted for a successful event and we cannot see that happening in time. We apologise to all the riders and spectators who were excited to attend and thank everyone who has supported us over the years We promise to make 2021 our best yet! Chin up, we can’t wait to see all your smiling faces next year!
01.01.2022 ** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT REGARDING 2020 EVENT** The Harrow Challenge Committee are committed to bringing you the Harrow Stockmans Challenge for 2020, however due to the lack of certainty surrounding restrictions the committee has decided to move the challenge back to the weekend of the 28th and 29th of November. We look forward to welcoming you all to the banks of the Glenelg, albeit slightly later in the year than originally planned. We've got huge plans for this year's challenge and this change gives us a little more clarity in our organisation to ensure we run the best event possible for all of you! Stay safe, stay home where possible and fingers crossed by November we can enjoy our long awaited weekend in Harrow!
