19.01.2022 A little over seven weeks until Harry Whitney arrives - riding places still available at Armidale and Lochinvar in NSW. Harry's Philosophy - "Work with the horse's thought". So often we focus on what the horse is doing and miss the fact that the horse's mind will affect what he does and how he does it. If we give attention to the horse, how he is feeling in the moment, where his thought is and offer him the help he is looking for, many of the things we thought were problems will be cleared up. www.harrywhitney.com

14.01.2022 I've been attending Harry Whitney clinics in Minnesota for the past 8 years. Each year Harry has inspired me (about horses & life) in ways that are simple yet complex, and with understanding that follows me for the entire year. The summer of 2010 was especially marvelous as Harry helped me with the first rides on my good black mare. Nothing is more sensational than those first rides, and to have the help, guidance and support of Harry (et al) made it the most memorable clinic... ever (so far!). The moon was full every night, the fireflies lit the fields with glitter, there was a torrential storm that blew down my panels but my mare never left, Tom Moates offered a poetic touch, and Harry was in fine form. Really, every clinic has been terrific and Harry has been a solid and honest teacher, always speaking for the horse, and always full of hope that his work will make life better for the horses. 04.01.2022 I went to my first "Harry" clinic about 9 years ago. My longing was to get along better with my horses. I am a professional hoof care provider and an amateur rider. The lessons that I have learned from Harry keep me safer in my profession and allow me to give my clients (the horses) the best possible experience. My personal riding horses (and I have many!) have benefitted in every aspect of our relationship. Harry has taught me to be more aware of little details that most of ...us overlook and this has transformed the meaning of straightness, collection and availability that many riders are searching for. When you come to a "Harry" clinic you will be exposed to a man who has a unique ability to help a horse feel better within himself and do his best at whatever his job he is performing. 02.01.2022 I am so blessed to have found Harry and discovered for my horses' sake the Harry way! After having spent three weeks with Harry over the course of three years, I started to look around at other trainers and discovered that what he teaches is not just "natural horsemanship." It's learning a way around gimmicks and fast solutions and really being there for my horses in a way that means something to the horses. 02.01.2022 When I first met Harry Whitney in '99, I was in awe of the relationship he had with his own horse. He and his horse looked like one. He was very humble in his teachings and authentic in his word. I knew he was someone I wanted to learn from. He has not only helped me deepen my relationship with my own horses, but has taught me how to be a better person, a better student, and a better teacher in this horsemanship journey. I've watched Harry work with a broad spectrum of horses... and students from the upper levels of dressage to the brand new beginner just trying to sort it all out and have seen remarkable changes in both.
