25.01.2022 This is the sort of thing the City of Glen Eira needs to get on board with, not wasting money on designs for projects that should be paid for by the state or federal parliament, or creating concrete monuments to their incompetence to house more cars. The next council needs to consider all ideas and initiatives to re-green the municipality. Vote 1 - Harry Graeve for a greener Glen Eira Camden Ward
25.01.2022 I can't make this up. Check out the Reason Party's policies here: copy and paste the link into your browser, it is their own website, again, not some story in a newspaper. This is what they want to do to us.... https://reason.org.au/policy/#1536276317735-0c05bbe0-4990 I can tell you, there is not a chance in hell I will ever let them bring the crime, that comes with drug injecting rooms into my city without a fight!!! Combined with some of their other policies, it would turn our lovely ward into Sodom and Gomorrah. I can't think of one Independent Candidate who would support such irresponsible and dangerous social engineering agendas. Make your vote truly count, preference Independents 1,2,3,4 and beyond. If you are not sure how to, I have attached my How to Vote Card, number the boxes as shown and make sure you vote early enough for your ballot to be received by the VEC by October 23. Send the Reason Party a message that the good citizens of Camden Ward will not allow them to destroy our communities by bringing drugs and crime into our neighborhoods.
23.01.2022 As a resident I want to see more green open spaces, more trees and opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. You don't need to be a left wing greeny to want this. You just have to want a nice place to live. Independent candidates like me don't need to rely on some Bolshevik inspired party platform to tell us this. We just want to make things better for our kids and neighbours.... In this election it is more important than ever to send the big parties a message by keeping them out of our council. Vote 1 - Harry Graeve and follow my How to Vote Card to get independents a 1,2,3 finish. It is time for Camden Ward to reclaim its independence from party politics and agendas.
22.01.2022 This is a long post. Go to the loo and grab a cuppa before you sit down to read it. As a candidate you get a lot of emails, some requiring a very simple short answer, some needing you to go into detail....Continue reading
22.01.2022 Please share You are so spoilt for choice of candidates offering you all sorts of things. From action on climate change to grants for businesses that will have to see rates increase. Starry eyed hopefuls about to sit their VCE exams through to a former councillor who was sacked in 2005. Maybe this is a shot at redemption?... All I want is a nice place to live and to fix those things that allowed these things to become problems in first place. If you want tighter building controls, if you want your rubbish collected and the footpaths fixed without having to make 10 phone calls, 7 emails and have a rant to all your neighbours so they do the same to get these things sorted out VOTE 1 - HARRY GRAEVE I won’t stand for this...neither should you.
22.01.2022 It’s all over, the polls are now closed. I would like to thank all of those people who had the confidence in me to put a 1 next to my name. A big thank you to those who were comfortable putting my face on their fence, shop front or on a stick in their front yard... Thank you to all those who reached out, I have learned so much about our little patch and how varied some of the challenges we are facing really are. To all the Karens that had nothing better to do than complain that I didn’t number my HTV the way they would have liked, or the activists shoving pledges or petitions under my nose, I still don’t understand why you wasted your time and mine. Counting of the ballots for Camden Ward will begin next Wednesday I don’t know when we will have the results, I will keep you informed. I just hope there are not too many donkey votes, otherwise we will only end up with donkeys.
20.01.2022 A huge congratulations to Sam Parasol and Simone Zmood on their win in the Camden Ward election. I would like to thank every one who had the confidence in me to put a 1 next to my name. I also have to thank my family for their support and assistance during the campaign along with everyone who allowed me to use their fences and front yards. It is cirtainly not a loss as I would like to think you all helped Sim and Sam beat the disingenuous candidates who would have absolutely ...destroyed our lovely little part of the world. They will cirtainly have their work cut out for them with Greens and other rat bag members in Camden and other wards getting a gurnsey. Power to you both and I am always here to lend a hand should it be needed to ensure Camden Ward remains the wonderful piece of suburbia that we love.
18.01.2022 I really think Wesley could be in with a good chance.
17.01.2022 With one more sleep until you can get your vote in, for those who may still be undecided I have made it easy for you. I have attached my How to Vote Card and all you need to do is number the boxes as shown and get your ballot in. Drop it into your local post office so that it is date stamped and will therefore be counted just in case the mail is running late.
16.01.2022 If you don't think The Greens are really a bunch of anti-semitic Reds don't take my word for it. These are links from their own website. https://greens.org.au/magazine/green-sustainable... https://greens.org.au//m/palestine-occupation-not-conflict These are not articles by Murdoch Press journalists, this is what they are proud of. For all their talk of love, equity, diversity and inclusivity they clearly only hate 2 things...free markets and the Jewish people having a right to self determination. Before you vote for David Zyngier, ask him how a Jew reconciles being a member of a party that wants to turn the world as we know it upside down and promotes the work of terrorists who would kill him in a heartbeat if he was within firing range. This is the beauty of a democratic secret ballot, we all have to vote our conscience. I'm Voting 1 - Harry Graeve. Can yours allow you to vote for a Greens Candidate?
16.01.2022 This is what standing up for your neighbours looks like. Where are the rest of the candidates speaking out against this travesty? This is what local council should be about.... #harrygraeve, #gleneira, #localcouncil, #elections
15.01.2022 I really do appreciate all of the calls and emails I have received throughout this election campaign. Complete strangers reaching out to talk about their challenges and working out if my position aligns with theirs. I have learned so much about our neighborhood and hopefully I will be able to assist overcoming a large number of the seemingly simple problems I didn't know existed. And now for the big BUT!!! For those of you who felt obliged to reach out to me just because you ...weren't happy with where I preferenced your favorite candidate, honestly...I don't know why you waste your time and mine. First of all, you must be working on the basis that I won't win, (I'm a little more optimistic) and therefore those who voted for me will automatically be voting for my number 2 or 3 or.... Secondly, if you believe that only a member of the Greens cares about the environment, or Labor members are the only ones who can empathize with those who have been doing it hard due to COVID, you must be, 1: living under a rock 2: Choosing to pay no attention or 3: Be one of the most naive people living in Camden Ward. Since campaigning began, I have committed to regreening Glen Eira, I have made it very clear about my thoughts on multi-level car parks, I have been brutally honest about how far council can go to make life easier for small businesses and reign in the budget. Many of the independents have also released solid statements on where they stand on the important challenges facing the City of Glen Eira. If you haven't voted yet, VOTE 1 - Harry Graeve You must vote by this Friday. If you have any last minute questions call 0447 599 588 or email [email protected] If you just want to whinge that my preferences are different to your preferences, save yourself the time. It's honestly something I could not bother caring for.
14.01.2022 Share, Share, Share, Share, Share. Yesterday, Labor MP after Labor MP voted to show their continued support of the Premier, Daniel Andrews. The Premier that has us all living in possibly the worlds largest free range prison, not that the opposition has been forthcoming with too many alternative strategies, but...my children living under house arrest conditions for months, me needing to now carry papers that provide me the privilege of going to work, but because of the work I ...do, I can only perform certain functions, because some activities are still VERBOTEN!!! (The use of German completely intentional, although Russian, Chinese, or whatever language they speak in Cuba or Venezuela would suffice.) and lets not forget this is the same Premier that has tried to bring laws into our lives that would have allowed any duly appointed apparatchik to come into our homes and kidnap us and our children on the suspicion that we may break the law at some point in the future. Seems a little excessive for a democracy, but that might just be me? Like the rest of us, I'm a voter and the voters are entitled to ask...do the Labor Party candidates still stand with Dan? Are any of them just using local council as a stepping stone to state or federal politics? What are their bigger plans for themselves? Considering there is a state election in 2 years, will they commit to serving a full term on the City of Glen Eira council should they be elected? I know there are a bunch of people ready to take my head off (and others in who's heads I am living right now...yep, got that phone call) who will try and convince you that what happens at the state or federal level should have no bearing on local council elections. I make no apology for it, when after what I have seen going on in the previous council it is clear that party members could be very much conflicted between acting for us, and acting for themselves when the right thing to do is not to tow the party line. So will Jesse Mansfield, Jane Karslake and Ricci Steckoll please answer the questions above. For those of you completely disinterested in the responses...I have attached my how to vote card, because my loyalty to you can never be questioned. VOTE 1 - HARRY GRAEVE and follow the number sequence on the HTV card to get the council we need and deserve in Glen Eira.

13.01.2022 Today @ 11am This could get interesting. A rabbi trying to interview 4 yidden simultaneously...what could go wrong?... A former mayor, a disgruntled malcontent of a resident and a couple of left wing schmendricks vying for votes in Camden Ward
10.01.2022 Please share. Don't vote for socialists to run your local council. The Below is from Labor's own National Policy Platform. Page 14. ... https://www.alp.org.au//2018_alp_national_platform_constit The National Policy Platform pervades everything they do and directs every policy they make from Federal politics all the way down to local government. Keep them out of Camden Ward and hopefully the rest of Glen Eira. Labor values 3. Labor's mission is to create a more equal and inclusive society. We seek an active role for Government in pursuing a fairer distribution of political and economic power, wealth and income. We strive towards full employment; with good, secure and well paid jobs available to all who want Now I understand how a Labor Member running for Camden Ward is comfortable making promises to take your money and redistribute your income and wealth as they see fit. Ricci Steckoll, Jane Karslake and Jesse Dean Mansfield have all signed on to this platform. Let them know you didn't by voting for Independent Candidates. Of course I would like you to Vote 1 - Harry Graeve, but if the thought of this offends you, Simone Zmood, and David parasol are also wonderful choices I'd happily run as a number 2 to either of these people who only want to serve you.
09.01.2022 A lot of great questions, a number of concerning answers. If you have any questions of me email [email protected] or just pick up the phone and dial 0447 599 588 and we can have a chat.

04.01.2022 It is important to know who you are voting for and for what they stand. For all of the backlash and hysteria over some of the things I have said the only accusation about me that is true is that I have been brutally honest with you. This is the only standard by which I hold others.... This morning I had reason to call (That's correct, I used the phone and spoke to them, I didn't hide behind some anonymous post or text message) one of the independent candidates to discuss a lack of transparency around their campaign. If you think I won't, in the immortal words of Don Chipp "keep the bastards honest" should I be given the honour of serving you, I think that race has been run and won. I have been warning all and sundry of the dangers for voting for the big party candidates for weeks now and I hope you have been paying attention. As we get closer to election day and these candidates are becoming more emboldened and confident, they are letting their true colours be seen. Along with the Reason Party Candidate, Ricci Steckoll, or possibly Ricci Samuel (from the profile page they look the same to me) has just declared that he supports council taking your money and giving it to whomever he sees fit. This is typical from a left leaning Labor acolyte with no regard for how hard you work for your money. I have attached an image of his response on the Glen Eira Residents Action Group Facebook page, along with the profile picture of Ricci Samuel. "I will also advocate to further extend financial support to our businesses." Socialist speak for " I am going to take the hard earned money from the ratepayers and then I will decide who deserves it" Who is Ricci Samuel? Is he Ricci Steckoll's doppelganger? Is there something more sinister behind this? I will leave it to you to work out. Do you know who or what you are voting for when they are endorsed by the Labor Party? or any political party for that matter? Do yourself a favour, if you are not prepared to vote 1- Harry Graeve, vote for an independent who will work for you and not just look at you as a cash cow. Preference Independents 2,3,4 & beyond Or you will end up paying a massive price that will be measured in dollars and tears.
02.01.2022 Please Share This: A lot of people have been asking me about my voting habits. Here they are:... I like to go early, although not that early that the BBQ hasn't warmed up and a few snags and onions have had time to get ready so that smell is wafting through the air. As I approach the polling station I run the gauntlet of volunteers, thank the one for my chosen candidate and keep telling the others to leave me alone. Wait in line, get my name marked off the roll and do whatever I think is best with the ballot paper whilst in the booth before depositing it/them in the requisite receptacles. I don't find it that exciting, but people have been asking. The only thing that has changed in over 20 years is that when I lived in North Caulfield I voted at a nearby Scout Hall, Now I am in East St. Kilda and it is more convenient to vote at the local primary school. This local election is going to see a first...I have never had the option to VOTE 1 - Harry Graeve. Hope you do as well.
01.01.2022 This is one of the biggest issues we face in Camden Ward. MANY PARTS OF CAMDEN WARD ARE OVERDEVELOPED This is an issue for many parts of Glen Eira.... As much as the party member and endorsed candidates have promised you, can they actually do what is needed to put a stop to insensitive developers looking to make a quick buck? Unfortunately it is State Government policy that has forced this upon us. We are 2 years out from a state election, meaning that we have a maximum of 18 months to get a commitment from the major parties and the rat-bags on the cross benches that they will give back planning autonomy to local councils. Do you think any of the Labor party candidates regardless of how unendorsed they are, are going to risk their political futures by going up against the Dan Andrews government's desire to maintain control over every aspect of our lives? Will a David Zingier speak out against his leader for you on this when he, as an activist can't even speak out when the party supports (some might even say celebrates) terrorists? Could you imagine Ethan Mileikowski, telling Fiona Patten that unless she agrees to give local councils their planning autonomy back he will not support their policies for drug injecting rooms and still have a chance at a solid political career with her Reason Party? Only truly independent candidates can kick in the doors (euphemistically speaking) and upset the necessary people to get this done for you. Will Ricci Steckoll, Jane Karslake, or Jesse Mansfield put you before their own political career aspirations. Will David Zyngier from the Greens or Ethan Mileikowski from the Reason Party be prepared to risk losing endorsement for the next council elections or pre-selection for a state or federal seat as they age. By now, you may not like me, but you know that I am a fighter and making friends with the pollies in Spring Street is of no interest to me at all. If you want Camden Ward and the City of Glen Eira to regain its tree cover and not to look more and more like a dystopian scene out of a sci-fi horror movie directed by Ridley Scott... VOTE 1 - HARRY GRAEVE and follow the instructions on my How to Vote card to get the independents we need and deserve on council to go into bat for all of us.
