21.01.2022 Hello Everyone! I see there are a lot of new people liking the page, so I thought I would re-introduce the page for those who don't quite know what it's all about. For those unfamiliar with me: My father, Ed Hart, was Bruce Lee’s second student. Dad trained with Bruce in Seattle and is intrinsic to Bruce’s Seattle Era. I have three videos available for purchase, which my father made: Boxing for Street Defense, and Gung Fu to Grappling are fantastic for those looking... for ways to deal with fight scenarios in the real world. Dad’s Interview for the Seattle Years would be of interest to those who want to know about Bruce Lee from the prospective of someone who was his friend when Bruce was just starting out. Hart Works will have information on video sales, as well as hosting comments and conversations in regard to Dad’s Art; which is simply known as The Stuff. I will be posting pictures on this site. They are for your enjoyment. If you wish to share, copy or otherwise distribute these pictures, PLEASE discuss this with me. If pictures are randomly shared or distributed, I will not be able to post them. Johnny Williams is co-administrator on this site. Johnny has a wealth of experience and knowledge and has been a fantastic help to me. Thank you, my friend, for your kind assistance and expertise. I finish with a couple pictures of me and Dad. Have a fantastic time of it, wherever you may be

21.01.2022 Hello again! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather. Over here it's the middle of winter so I envy you all in the northern hemisphere. I've included a really nice pic of Dad on the couch, a candid snap during training and a great picture of Dad and Jesse. They had a tremendous respect for each other and were more like brothers than friends.... Have a great day and keep training! Regards, Lori

19.01.2022 A very windy, rainy day here in Western Australia. I hope you all are keeping well wherever you may be in the world. I am putting up some pics of Dad which many of you might not have seen. Those who knew him will recall his fondness for getting around in budgy smugglers. I don't know where he was in the last photo, looks like a record shop maybe? I hope you enjoy them and if you have any stories to go with the pictures, I'd love to hear from you.... All the best, Lori

19.01.2022 Thank you all so much for your kind wishes on my harrowing return home. Now that I am back, I am on the 14 day quarantine, but fortunately I can self isolate at home. Had I been 18 hours later (midnight on Saturday), I would have been escorted to one of the Sydney hotels for the 14 days and been under guard! My son decided to stay with friends for the isolation period. He wouldn't have been allowed to work had he remained at home. Unfortunately, he forgot to take the box ...which contain the three videos which Dad made. Since I can not come in contact with people or touch things that other people will come into contact with, I'm not able to get orders out right now. My confinement is at an end on 12th April and I will get your orders out then. I apologise to those of you who are impacted by this delay; however far better safe than sorry. A few pictures for you all. That's me and dad, then a really nice picture of dad and finally dad, and (I believe) next is Leroy Garcia, Jim DeMile and then Jess. Please take care of yourself and others during these trying times. All the best, Lori Hart

18.01.2022 Well, great news! It seems that Donald is allowing parcels to be sent to the United States again. Postage has gone up but I am happy to continue with free postage for the foreseeable future. It's been a trying time, indeed! Thank you all for your kind support! Cheers, Lori Hart

17.01.2022 A big shout out to Cory Laverdure for lunch and the new pair of shoes (mine got soaked during the storm last night)! Great to see you again and reminisce about Dad, Jesse and the guys.

17.01.2022 Hello everyone! I haven't been on for a while, apologies for that! I am in Seattle for a few months and would love to catch up with any of the crew in the Pacific Northwest! It sure is a lot colder here than in Australia :) Here are a few pictures of Dad which I thought you might enjoy! Until next time, yours, Lori

17.01.2022 Well, it appears I will have to wait a bit longer to send any videos. The post office has said they are still not allowed to send to the USA and various other countries, however they did note that this could change at any time. I will let you know just as soon as I am able to send videos again. In the meantime, I have added a few pictures. The first is a picture of Hank, Tom de Felice, Jess and Barry. Next is Dad with me and my sister Kim and my son Ronnie. He's now 27, how time flies!! Finally, a snap of Dad with long hair. Enjoy and until next time, stay healthy!

16.01.2022 Hello everyone, I hope you all are faring well. I haven't posted these pictures before, as there are a few people I don't know in them. Any help with that would be most appreciated. The first picture is at a gathering of Gung Fu people. We have Jesse Glover, unknown, Taki Kimura, Dad, Linda Lee, Jim DeMile and Skip Ellsworth. This is a great picture as it has the original guys in it. Next we have a gathering of students at Dad's place, The first two guys on the left are ...unknown (but I love the shorts on the first guy!) Then we have my brother Ted, Dad and Tom De Felice. I hope you enjoy them. As usual, please don't share these pictures without my express permission. Kind Regards, Lori

15.01.2022 In remembrance of a great man and a faithful friend to my father for many years. You are missed, Jesse

15.01.2022 Hello everyone, Here are some great photos that I had to re-share. Chris Charnos is looking quite dapper in this photo. He was one of Dad’s top students and is now a fantastic instructor in his own right. Next, a picture of Dad with the wooden dummy. How he was able to work out on that thing in the middle of an apartment block (late at night) and not have complaints is beyond me! Finally a picture of all of us Hart kids! Don’t forget: Boxing for Street Defense and ...Gung Fu to Grappling as well as Dad’s Interview for the Seattle Years" are available for purchase. Gung Fu to Grappling is a great guide for bouncers and other security personnel, showing holds and control moves while Boxing for Street Defense will assist with those less manageable situations and is great for women as well as men. The Interview is a fascinating look at a time when Bruce Lee was just developing. The cost of each video is $US70.00. There is a $US15.00 shipping and handling fee for each video. If you buy all three, the shipping and handling is $US20.00. Please message me or email me at [email protected] if you are interested in purchasing any of these videos. Don’t forget to give me your address and to send the correct amount of postage in US dollars. All transactions through PayPal. As always, if you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact me! Kind Regards, Lori See more

15.01.2022 Hello all, Thanks so much for all your memories, shared recently on this thread and on others. I am so pleased that you all have such great memories of dad and/or you were there when he needed a hand. The pictures below are 1) Dad with my little sister (Michele), then 2) Dad and Mike Lee and finally 3) a picture of Dad at Ted's birthday (can't remember the year.)... Stay safe, keep the memories coming and Godspeed to you all on this journey of life.

15.01.2022 My thanks to Peer Hesstvedt for doing a fantastic job in clarifying this photo and removing spots/aged areas. Much appreciate the work, Peer!!

13.01.2022 The best of friends, the best of brothers. Jess and Dad broke many barriers and their friendship was just one of those. They are together; at Lakeview Cemetery and in the great expanse of the universe. Happy Birthday Jess!

13.01.2022 I have three pictures I would like to share with you. The first is a training session photo. There are two people whose identities I am uncertain of. I believe one of them might be Pierre Hartmann’s student. If Pierre Hartmann is not the person pictured, could someone tell me who he is? Next there is a great picture of Dad. Finally, a group photo of some of the originals. Sadly, the number of originals not with us has grown recently. My condolences to Taki Kimura’s fami...ly on their incredibly sad loss. I hope that the new year treats you better than 2020 did. Keep practicing and stay well. Kind Regards, Lori Hart See more

12.01.2022 Hello everyone. I hope those in the northern hemisphere are enjoying their high summer. We in the southern hemisphere are looking forward to longer days after Sunday's solstice. The pictures I have attached this week are from way back. First, Dad and a friend at Bruce's grave, then Chris Charnos, me and Cory and finally Dad and Jess with Dennis Hearn and unknown friends/family. I hope you enjoy the photos!... Cheers, Lori

12.01.2022 Hello Everyone, Well I am reminiscing about family this week. I hope you and yours are in good health and getting by as best you can during these trying times. Here are some family pictures for you. First, Lori and Ted at the duplex (big glasses, big slogans!) Next we have Dad, Kim and Lori on Lori’s hot Chevy Nova. Dad loved driving that car! Finally, a lovely picture of Kevin with Hailey when she was just a wee bairn. Have a great fortnight. Until then, all the best, Lori

11.01.2022 Dad would have been 95 years old today. Happy birthday Dad!!!

08.01.2022 I see a lot of new faces on the page, which is fantastic! Welcome, everyone. For those who are new, please don’t share these photographs without my express permission. Things on the internet sometimes find their way to questionable sites and I try to avoid that by keeping photos and comments ‘in house’. I’ve included three photos from workout sessions at Dad’s little apartment (which we call a ‘flat’). It was a one bedroom flat and sometimes got very cramped! Dad had his... wooden dummy on the back veranda, it’s a wonder he didn’t get noise complaints :) There are three videos available for those who are interested in The Stuff and the Seattle Years. Gung Fu to Grappling is a great guide for bouncers and other security personnel, showing holds and control moves while Boxing for Street Defense will assist with those less manageable situations and is great for women as well as men. Ed Hart’s Interview-Bruce Lee, the Seattle Years is an interview with Dad as he discusses Bruce’s origins and growth during the early years. It features some little known anecdotes about the Seattle circle at that time. The cost of each video is $US70.00. If you purchase all three videos, the cost is $US200.00. Postage is $US15 per video or $US20 for all three. Postage prices have recently gone up but do tend to fluctuate so these prices may vary in the future. Please message me or email me at [email protected] if you are interested in purchasing any of these videos. Don’t forget to give me your address and to send to correct amount of postage in US dollars. The first picture is of a full session--including Chris Sutton, Tom De Felice and Michael Droth in the wheelchair, next is Dad and Tom De Felice practicing an arm lock and finally a picture of Jesse, Dad, Corey, Hank Tally, Eric Boucher and my brother Ted. I hope you enjoy the pictures and please feel free to ask any questions you might have. Until next time, stay safe out there, Lori

05.01.2022 A very Happy Holiday to all of you! I understand that this Christmas will be different for many people as loved ones are kept away from each other. It is true that we appreciate the important things, like holiday gatherings, family and friends when we are forced to be without them. I guess the same is true with many things. The holidays always remind me of those who I would so like to see again; those who are distant and those who have left us. Thank you for a wonderful y...ear of stories and comments. I learn a lot from you guys. For those wonderful helpers (you know who you are!) thank you for your kindness, assistance and friendship. The first picture is of our family. I believe it was at Christmas, I could be wrong. The unfamiliar man on the right is my son’s father. Next is the picture of Ted, CC and Dad that I love so much. Finally, a picture of Dad, which is a great candid snap. All the best to each and every one of you, my friends. Warmest Regards, Lori

04.01.2022 https://people.com//why-bruce-lee-was-suspect-in-sharon-t/ I saw this and am still trying to get my head around it....

04.01.2022 Hello all. Unfortunately, the Australian Postal system will not send parcels to the United States (and several other countries) while the pandemic is at its present progression. This means that I am not able to ship any videos at this time. I know this has affected several of you. I have been in touch with those people to reimburse/notify them of the delays. Terribly sorry about that but there is simply nothing that I can do about it. I know some of you are suffering f...rom the virus and to those who are, I am sending my love and will continue to stay in contact with you. Until next time, I can only send my best wishes to each and every one of you. Kind regards, Lori

03.01.2022 I found myself looking at family pictures today and thought I'd share a few of dad with everyone. Enjoy!

03.01.2022 https://youtu.be/fhjE-hBMIZ0 Remembering Dad on the day of his passing.

02.01.2022 I thought I'd share some throwback pics today. First we have Dad in his favourite place, the kitchen with a coffee. Then there's Jess, Dad, Corey, Barry, Marty and Ted and finally a picture of my souped up Nova (which Dad loved to drive) and Dad, Kim and me posing with it. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Cheers, Lori
