We have a lovely group coming from Forbes tonight to use our space! Unfortunately we are still short staffed in our downstairs kitchen and can only just keep up with our in house & delivery demands. ... One day soon, hopefully we can bring back the Hart Bar ‘Restaurant’ & Friday Feels Until then, if you are looking for somewhere to have a private dinner or canapé & cocktail party you know where to find us!! #hartbarparkes

07.01.2022 We’ve been a bit silent over here lately so we thought we would give you a (long) update. Although Hart bar isn’t operating as normal for Friday share plates or the Saturday à la cart menu at the moment, we have been busily working away hosting a number of events. Hart Bar is able to operate under its own COVID safety plan which means we can hold corporate functions, wakes and weddings for larger groups as well as host events like Timberlina! Our wonderful Chef Blair has bee...n kept very busy downstairs in the @railwayhotelparkes kitchen due to all you lovely people continuously supporting us visiting the Railway & ordering #Railwayeats. Unfortunately we have been down one chef since the beginning of March! Denny (our chef) and his wife Jess (our HB waitress) went home to visit family in Indonesia and due to the COVID had their return flights cancelled & now can’t come back into Australia until the borders reopen. We wanted to take this time to wish them all the best and we hope that they can return to the #Railwayfam one day soon! The festive season won’t be quite the same this year, however we are taking corporate Christmas party/ end of year celebration bookings. Currently we are taking just one per day/ night but hopefully this will change closer to the end of the year. At this stage only a seated menu will be available. This will be a special menu created by Blair which we will endeavour to get out to you ASAP or you can select from the Railway menu. Hart Bar is available to book one of these specific events every day or night of the week and if you’re looking to celebrate with your team after what has been turbulent year for us all, we invite you to get in contact by emailing [email protected]. #hartbarparkes

04.01.2022 Our A Team Blair & Kimberley have been helping out downstairs at The Railway Hotel Parkes for months now patiently waiting for the festive season. Having to cancel so many functions & not being able to reopen as normal on the weekends has been so disappointing for us all but especially these two gems! Finally we are coming to the end of 2020 & can utilise our beautiful space to cater for corporate EOY celebrations! Blair has been working on a delicious three course menu & ...Kim has been super busy already answering enquires. We have limited weekends left but are happily taking mid week bookings.
