22.01.2022 This is a great example of the water reflecting the sky.

22.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyone. I know you are all waiting for me to start classes again and I am aiming for that goal very soon. I need to finish painting inside the hose and unpack everything f before this can happen. I have also started a new role at my job. From tomorrow I start delivering aged care units for a Cert lll in individual support. My time in the last week has been upgrading my qualms so I can do this role. In between all that I got a commission to paint a plaster for a primary school for meek week. It’s 1500 x 1800 in three pieces with the cover of 9 books painted on it. You have no idea how much I needed my studio set up this past month. I am on the home stretch now and my lounge now has theee tables all covered in bottles of paint. Only 2 more book covers to go. But I thought I would share it with you

21.01.2022 Painted more rocked tonight for that commission I am doing for book week. Thinking of Renee and her rock envy

20.01.2022 Some inspiration from Simone Freeman

18.01.2022 Just putting this here for later. I used to use these moulds when I had my ceramic studio. But I never really got into making the molds.

15.01.2022 Love the colours. What a joy to paint .

15.01.2022 A LITTLE TUTORIAL TO WATCH TO GET YOU ON TRACK FOR DRAWING FACES https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85ofld4qVZc

15.01.2022 I like this technique. So many ideas in my head right now.

14.01.2022 Spotted this on my feed this morning. Thought it will make a good multi media project. Music and gin suits me. But we can change the drink to suit you. Or you might make it as a gift for a friend. The music is possibly essential so we can use it as a background theme. But open to creative suggestions. Maybe it’s Thailand and we can use b/w images of Thailand and pages from a Thai novel. Pages from an old book will be perfect here. Then we can paint an image over the collage. Might make it a workshop outside or regular class. That is when we are running again. Instead of a canvas we can use heavy card and but a nice frame with glass to frame it. Cheap frames at the cheap shops are perfect. Let me know your interest. We can workshop your ideas.

12.01.2022 A little challenge for someone.

12.01.2022 So I have moved to Chelmer. Updates to the page will happen soon as Telstra can organise my internet access and I can use the desktop. Seems this could be a long process. Have a few rooms to paint still and a lot of boxes to unpack but as soon as I can I will let you know a date for next class. I may offer an evening class to as I am going to advertise in my new area and build some new classes. Just like the old days!!!! still working at my regular job but only 3 days a week now and on job keeper. So it seems I got plenty of time to run a few extra classes. Stay tuned

12.01.2022 This would make a great painting if someone wants to accept the challenge

09.01.2022 SO MUCH DETAIL The Banksia is my most favourite Australian Native, it thrives in my area. Such a sculptural form it demands an artwork that showcases this. ... This piece shows its standalone beauty without distraction. The reference photo belongs to my lovely flower loving florist friend.Using textural brush strokes, a loose drippy style and lots of fine detail and outline. - Megan Dwyer We are in love with the detail and texture of this piece. Coast and crop Megan Dwyer Acrylic on stretched canvas. View more of Megan's work here: https://artloversaustralia.com.au/product/coast-and-crop/

07.01.2022 another excellent painting for a cat lover

She is now on Facebook and soon I hope to work out how to invite her to this page with an iPad while sitting in a park I Warwick with little to no internet strength. Anyway. At some point Anne will see this so WELCOME. also a big welcome to a few new people who I’ve connected with through my local Chelmer community page. When I have the studio operating again I hope to see them there.
