24.01.2022 New to me Alldays swage block made in Birmingham, England. Missing a small corner, thanks to dad for going with me and making the stand (I need to finish painting it, I was impatient) wasnt too easy lifting a 90+odd kilo chunk of metal on to the stand but I got there after a couple minutes
21.01.2022 Nice variety of colors for these sheaths in progress, the brown one is for a farm buddy model I made, the green/black is for the damascus razor I made a while ago, and the black on is for Jessy at Jera Blades
21.01.2022 Sheath is finished, this one will be off to its new home on Monday 1084hc steel with 14" hollow grind Stabilsed Tasmanian myrtle handle with brass pins Hand dyed and stamped sheath in walnut brown, hand stitched with black thread. Just need to clean up the knife and final sharpen and its done
19.01.2022 Stopped the usual commission work today to teach a class with Drighden, his first time forging so we made a blacksmith/viking knife. He learnt tapering, bending, ideal forging heats, bevel forging, heat treating (of this particular steel) aswell as grinding etc, did a commendable first knife

02.01.2022 Spoiler, ill be experimenting with gem setting and engraving aswell as my normal skills Test setup on my normal workbench just to have a play, looking forward to getting the jewellery shed sorted next
