24.01.2022 Let us base our faith on our POSITION in Christ and not on our circumstances. Some verses from Romans 8 - v5 - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Are we going to focus on the things of the flesh, the things of the world, the things of circumstances and consume ourselves in talking about all the things the world is talking about OR are we, children of God, filled with the Spirit of God..., going to go after those things of the Spirit? I dont know about you, but I choose the latter. v6 - For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. If we set our affections on spiritual things, we will have life and peace. Life and peace is the opposite of death, anxiety, fear and worry. v15 - for you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption. Lets remind ourselves again that we do not have to accept things that would cause us to have bondage and fear. We are adopted into Gods family, we are His children and hence have His love lavished upon us. v19 - For the earnest expectation of creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. This verse tells me that all of creation is waiting for us - the sons of God to rise up. Lets not have an identity crisis during this time. We are Ambassadors of Christ. In Him.

09.01.2022 Big thanks Harvest City Church team in hosting our Christmas Under The Stars event for Children. Massive thanks to so many people giving to help the under privileged in our city. Big shout out to our Mayor Karen Williams , Deputy Mayor Lance Hewlett and Sheena Hewlett, Wendy Boglary Councillor Ormiston/Wellington Point and some amazing friends in Pastors Ron and Debbie Hill from Lighthouse Care to which none of this would be possible. Thousands of dollars worth of gift...s were handed out to 95 children and families on our Redlands Coast, with faces of pure joy and astonishment seen. This would not be possible without so many coming together, each playing a part to do something bigger than ourselves. Thank you Pastor Jim DeWitt. from Redlands Christian Reformed Church for the use of your facility, SU Queensland for popcorn and slushy machines and Doug for making giant sized fairy floss!!
