19.01.2022 Mental Health is characterised by REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS both for myself and others. This means we have the ability to check and adjust them when they are no longer helpful. Expectations are subconscious assumptions which ned to be examined when ever they prove to be troublesome. One of the major causes of anger today, is due to unmet expectations! Are you expecting things you havent even negotiated with others in the first place?... Find peace by reviewing your current level of expectations of yourself and others, and altering them today.



18.01.2022 Can self really change self, or is genuine and radical personal change really a myth? As our header states, if you change nothing, nothing will change. Have you got the 4 ingredients needed for real change? Pain- the pain of staying the same has to be greater than the pain of change.... Hope - that I can become my dream for myself. How to - with new insights, training, truth and guidance. Love - from somebody significant to us. Without these four qualities present, change is likely to be slow or non-existent.....Is that what you want for yourself?

18.01.2022 Mental Health is the ABILITY TO SUBMIT TO CORRECTION from those who know better than I. This is humility to take correction on methods, ideas and beliefs that simply arent working, withouth taking offence. Sincerity isnot what makes you right. Most of the misguiede are actually very sincere. Sick thinkers will prefer to protect their own way by taking offence rather than correction, and want only the affirmation of what is already believed. ... Any relationship is fixable ONLY if there is humbleness. Learn to take correction, it will keep your relationships healthy, and you humble.

18.01.2022 Mental Health is ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY for the outcomes of my own choices. This includes my attitude, my volitional moods, my predicament. This my power to self-determinate. "How did I contribute to this situation - this mess? is a very healthy question to ask oneself repeatedly throughout life, and one the blame-shifter never asks. ... Making no choice, is still a CHOICE! Doing due diligence is a very important step in decision making. So keeping ourselves out of victimhood, means we accept responsibility for the outcomes of the choices we make.



15.01.2022 Mental Health is the willingness to accept SHORT TERM PAIN FOR LONG TERM GAIN. Delayed gratification rquires the ability to coach myself through the dreaded feeling and ghosts of the past, such as failure, disappointment, guilt or rejection in a deliberate effort to stay in reality and find the truth necessary to work it through. Stopping at that one cookie can be hard, but the benefits are great! Addicts dont do short term pain for long term gain. It however can be a skilled that is learnt! Teaching your children to save, not have it right now for instance is a good lesson and helps them to master this skill.
