22.01.2022 Jesus, my spirit was made alive because of You. Language is not adequate enough to describe the joy, gladness, delight, rapture, and excitement I feel at how good and how amazing Your love truly is, but that wont stop me from trying! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. Bless and praise the Lord, O my soul,... And do not forget any of His benefits; Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle (Psalm 103:1-6). 16.01.2022 The LORD is my shepherd, I LACK NOTHING. He makes me lie down in green pastures, HE LEADS ME BESIDE QUIET WATERS, He refreshes my soul. HE GUIDES ME along right paths for His names sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for YOU ARE WITH ME; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. YOU PREPARE A TABLE BEFORE ME in the presence of my enemies. YOU ANOINT my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely YOUR GOODNESS AND LOVE will follow me all the... days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD FOREVER. (Psalm 23) The Lord is my shepherdI acknowledge that from the get-go. He protects me, guides me, spends time with me, teaches me, laughs with me, cries with me, and supplies me with food and drink that are nourishing to my soul. Everything I need is IN Him. And even though this is not all about me somehow it still is. As I follow Him, He invites me to sit beside HIS still waters. They are surrounded by the music of nature. The song of birds. The rustling of tree leaves. The swaying of tall grasses. I close my eyes and draw in a deep breath. The earthy scent of peat and lavender find me. I refocus my mind on Jesus and from this place of rest, the process of RESToration can begin. When I open my eyes, I realise that Jesus has sat down beside me. I look from Him to the waters and back again. His still waters run deep, and so does He. And although the waters are gently flowing on the surface, there is an entire aquatic ecosystem thriving beneath. I can see some of the ecosystem, but I cannot sum it up. I cannot explain everything that transpires nor the exact moment it does so. And just as I cannot sum up the body of water in front of me, I cannot completely sum Jesus up. He is so much more than my limited water doctrines and ecosystem theories. Then Jesus gently lifts my head and redirects my focus. I find myself looking directly in front of me at the waters edge. The water is crystal clear and my reflection is somehow etched upon the waters surface. In the water, I catch a glimpse of how Jesus sees me. I am overwhelmed. The water also shows me that I have seen Jesus as small and slight. But He is neither of those things. Jesus is much more significant, powerful, and complex than I have ever perceived Him to be. At first, I feel shame from the rebuke, but then shame disappears because the rebuke becomes a revelation. The want I had before I sat at the waters edge becomes a thank you. And the disconnection I had allowed myself to wander into BEFORE I was led to the waters, has now been replaced with a deep, unstoppable appreciation for who He is. Come! Jesus jumps to His feet. Now we dine!

15.01.2022 For all whom are wondering, we DO have a good Friday service this morning at 10am, and also an Easter Sunday one at the same time. At the Culcairn Memorial Hall, its gonna be awesome!!!! 14.01.2022 FIRE AND SEEDS. When we look at a seed it can be easy for us to assume that the little DNA pod we hold in our hand simply needs to be plantedtucked into the soil and loved on with sunlight, nutrients and water so that it will grow. But what if thats not always the case? What if theres another element needed in the activation of some seeds? Pyrophytic plants are species of plants that only come alive when their seeds have been activated through fire. Yup, you read that ...right... FIRE. When exposed to flames, the resin that has sealed shut or laid dormant some Pyrophytic seeds will be forced to melt away, allowing the seed shell to open. Other Pyrophytic seeds use the chemical signals from smoke to open up. Australia actually has a bunch of seeds that are only activated through fire. Eucalyptus and Banksia are two such species (the article below is an interesting read!). We can walk around with dormant seeds in our lives. Dream seeds, seeds of hope, seeds of health, etc., but in some instances, it might just take the fire of God to activate those seeds. John the Baptist said, I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. On Mount Sinai, the Israelites witnessed smoke rising from the mountain top because the fire of God was resting there. He was activating something. Tongues of fire appeared above the disciples heads when Holy Spirit met them in the upper room in the book of Acts. They had been waiting for the Helper to come, and He came by way of a mighty rushing wind and by tongues of fire. In times of fire, seeds that have laid dormant in our livessometimes for decadescan be instantly activated and spring to life. Out of the most difficult and fire-filled seasons of our lives can spring the most beautiful living gardens around us.

06.01.2022 THE UNIVERSE IS FRAMED BY HIM. Hebrews 11:3 says, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." The word for worlds in this scripture is the word ain, which tends to relate to an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, eternity (Strongs Greek: 165). ... It is sometimes difficult to picture how great, wide, deep and far Gods Word traveled when He first spoke everything into existence, because His words rippled beyond time and thus beyond our smaller frameworks concerning what constitutes time as we know it. Our world is a part of a solar system, and our sun is a star in our Milky Way galaxy. Our Milky Way galaxy is one of a plethora of galaxies that make up our universe. And our universe is a part of possible universes. Our universe is not only held together by the word of God, but it is also framed by the word God... Jesus. How powerful is His word and how mind-bendingly awesome is He!

03.01.2022 SEATED WITH JESUS TOGETHER. Have you ever had a person repeatedly pop into your mind or heart but youve not known why? Or have you ever had moments where youve felt excited, agitated, scared, joyful, happy (or some other emotion) in regard to someone? Sometimes what we are sensing about someone could literally be what that someone is experiencing in real life. I personally cannot count the number of times I have had friends contact me in different seasons to say, Cath,...Continue reading
