When the travel restrictions are lifted, get in your car & drive to your favourite holiday spot for a mini-break or week away. 2. Encourage your friends & family to holiday as well. 3. Book direct with your favourite motel or caravan park. Don't book through those booking sites who charge huge commissions that cripple small family businesses - & charge you more as well.... For the very best rates, book direct & feel the local love! 5. Don't get put off because it's Winter. Regional NSW is a gorgeous place to be during the cooler months, just bring an extra jumper! 6. 10.01.2022 Full house with full bellies & full hearts in our restaurant last night. We specialise in home cooked meals ideal for workers, travellers & groups. We've had some wonderful groups staying with us this week enjoying the Tamworth Music Festival.

09.01.2022 We’re still open! Please call us on 02 6742 3400 if you have any accommodation or food requirements - we're here to help the Gunnedah community. We’re keeping a close eye on updates from the Government and while they’re currently advising against non-essential travel, we are still open. With these changing travel restrictions, people around Australia may find themselves stuck and in need of accommodation.... We are here for people who need to self-isolate, but can't do so at home. We have a safe place for you to self-isolate, with room service meals available. Our understanding is that as an accommodation provider, we are an ‘essential service’ which means that we are unlikely to be required to close as a consequence of COVID-19. We would like to reassure our guests that we are monitoring the situation closely and following the advice of the Department of Health and Human Services, which includes putting in several additional measures to increase hygiene and awareness across all of our parks. The situation is changing rapidly, and we will provide any further updates in alignment with Government advice. 04.01.2022 Thinking of our sister property - Rockpool Motor Inn at South West Rocks - who have been in the thick of the fire emergency this week. Such a gorgeous motel at a stunning location. While South West Rocks has not been directly effected by fire, Rockpool has been looking after many people, including our super heroes the RFS, who have had a very challenging week.

02.01.2022 We are so excited to hear this morning that our sister property, Beachcomber Holiday Park on the stunning South Coast, escaped the last week with no fire damage. We highly recommend a visit to Beachcomber when they reopen - Potato Point is simply a gorgeous part of our coastline, one of our favourites. Our hearts & best wishes remain with those who have been impacted & the bravery of our RFS, Surf Lifesavers, SES, Police & Community Groups for their tireless work. THANK YOU!
