25.01.2022 We are BERRY excited to let you know we will be re-opening our PYO patch tomorrow at 9am Bookings are ESSENTIAL, as we can only allow 100 patrons in the patch per session, you MUST pre-book via our website to secure your spot Please ensure you also include any FREE children entries in the provided text box. You will only be charged for each adult entry but we need to record ALL entries appropriately. Sessions will begin daily at 9am and the final session for the day is... 3:30pm Our Cafe & Market Hall will also re-open with usual trading hours, so you can enjoy something delicious from our menu after picking some sweet juicy strawberries or simply have a browse of all the phenomenal local goodness in our market hall A quick THANK YOU to those who continued to support us during these tough times. We couldn’t have gotten through without you guys and appreciate you all more than you could imagine

20.01.2022 HTF COVID UPDATE I’m sure you have all heard of the new restrictions being enforced for the next 6 days. We adapted during the last lock down and we intend to do the same this time around so you can be rest assured HTF will still provide the fresh, delicious, local produce you know & love We are still waiting for updates to come through but at this point the strawberry patch has been CLOSED and any bookings made prior will be refunded ASAP. ... REMEMBER our fresh produce & essential boxes are available to purchase on our website for DELIVERY & PICK UP as well as all local shelf items, fresh bread, fruit and veggies, gluten free goodies & MORE! 20.01.2022 Another spectacular morning at HTF HQ today and we are ‘eggs-tremly’ excited for a phenomenal long weekend Our Market hall & cafe will be OPEN 7:30am - 5pm EVERYDAY this weekend as well as our PYO strawberry patch 9am-4pm Our kitchen will be closed Friday, Saturday & Monday but we will have plenty of our delicious house made bakery available as well as barista made coffee, house made ice cream and of course a full range of GF treats ... We will be attending both Willunga Farmers Market & Adelaide Showground Farmers Market this weekend. Please note that there will be no GF bread available at WFM but you can place an order NOW for collection at HTF over the weekend A family friendly outdoor activity, delicious bites to eat and local goodies as far as the eye can see... what more could you want?! 20.01.2022 Harvest the Fleurieu in all it’s glory We were lucky enough to have a visit from our friends at Pick A Local, Pick SA who shot this awesome video as they asked Ryan & Megan about our family farm and got the scoop on how to find the perfect strawberry We are super excited to be apart of the SA Strawberry Season Launch THIS Thursday 12th November at Romeo’s Rundle Mall ... There is heaps of fun lined up with Callum’s Kitchen making 2 delicious dishes as well as Jodie & Soda from Mix Adelaide but most importantly ALL funds raised will be donated to Childhood Cancer We hope to see some friendly and familiar faces there

10.01.2022 The grass is greener at Harvest the Fleurieu These guys had an absolute ball picking their very own punnets of strawberries and testing out our new lawn games then waited oh so patiently for their ice cream reward Our new lawn area is the PERFECT space for ALL as the adults can enjoy a coffee or some lunch in peace while the kids play games and run out some of their (never ending) energy ... 02.01.2022 Have you ever wondered how one of our sweet, juicy strawberries starts out? Well here you have a photo of just that... The full cycle from plant to strawberry. In peak season it would take around 6 weeks for that teeny, tiny lil strawberry to flourish into that big red juicy strawberry ready to be devoured Here’s an interesting fact: Strawberries are the only fruit with their seeds on the outside and are actually a member of the rose family ...
