25.01.2022 Official launch for HARVEY YOUTH SPACE page and logo.

25.01.2022 Check out what's happening at the Harvey Youth Space Monday 18 Jan.

23.01.2022 We are very happy with the response from youth in Harvey and surrounding areas with over 80 young people signed in as participants. We average 10 to 15 each 2 hour session and expect that to increase during this school year. The sad news however is our lease after October will amount to $30,000. This is not sustainable as funding for this project is by a community group. We are inviting community to present some ideas and hopefully solutions that allow the Space to operate after October 2021. We'd love to hear from you.

23.01.2022 We are having our first meeting for 2021 on Thursday, 4pm at the Harvey Youth Space. We would like to invite interested community members to meet the team and have a look at what we do.

22.01.2022 We are proud to announce ongoing support by Western Australia Police Force Communities Crime Prevention Fund, providing funding for projects designed to create a safe and informed environment for young people in the Harvey region and sustainability for the Harvey Youth Space project. By liking this page and that of the Harvey Youth Space you can follow progress and keep informed about events, workshops and volunteer opportunities.

22.01.2022 At last we have dates locked in for our FREE Leadership and Governance training available to youth aged 12 to 25 who are keen to be involved with the Harvey Youth Space and youth issues within the Shire of Harvey. Session 1: Saturday 15 August - 10am to 4pm Session 2: Saturday 22 August - 10am to 4pm Venue: Harvey Community Resource Centre

21.01.2022 The HARVEY YOUTH SPACE will become an incorporated organisation which means we are looking for interested volunteers to be part of the management committee/board. We'll be seeking expressions of interest for executive positions and general positions. We'll be particularly interested to hear from anyone with experience working with youth. Please PM for more information.

21.01.2022 Just letting everyone know the HARVEY YOUTH SPACE now has its own email address: [email protected]

21.01.2022 I know you are keen to know if the Youth Space is attracting our youth as planned. Well here are some stats after two weeks of trial opening hours: 47 young people have filled out forms and signed behaviour contracts to be part of the Space. Average participation at any one time is between 11 and 12 per two hour sessions.

19.01.2022 The Harvey Youth Space, Lot 208 and Shire of Harvey are working together to offer 15 young people an opportunity to go to Adventure World on Thursday 21 January.
