18.01.2022 This Rodeo came in with poor wheel alignment and extended shackles on tired old factory leaf springs, all resulting in the vehicle not performing properly on and off the road. We were excited with the challenge of getting this vehicle back handling as it should! We removed the extended shackle and leaf springs, replacing them with 2 inch West Coast Suspension leaf springs. We also performed a proper alignment to correct the vague steering. The vehicle was then finished off wi...th a good set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. 05.01.2022 The wrong spring rate for what the vehicle is carrying can greatly affect the vehicle's handling, performance, and safety. Turns out this vehicle had coils that were designed for a far heavier load! Originally this vehicle came in for an alignment, but we were not able to complete it due to the heavy-duty coils.... This was causing the vehicle to have light steering and be prone to bump steer. It also had no suspension travel meaning that the weight could not be transferred to the front under braking. The vehicle was also prone to lifting a wheel or having very light traction on one side while off-road. It was an easy fix with the right springs chosen and fitted, the alignment could be achieved and our happy customer will be safer and be better setup for off-road! #suspensionalbany #liftkitsalbany #alignmentsalbany #harvstyres
