23.01.2022 My meditation focus this morning was our ability to move. Or movement, in its purest form. . Think about it: the way our bodies are bioengineered to move is absolutely wonderful! Even though we are wired to preserve energy we are also designed to be in motion. Our joints, bones and muscles are trained to, in synchronised harmony, produce movement. . 19.01.2022 In line with this year’s goal of reducing animal protein intake, tonight’s dinner was totally plant-based (and also a last-minute invention!) . . I am always ready to eat after working out, so once class was done I couldn’t wait very long to fuel up. Quickly boiled some rice, steamed broccoli with garlic and pan-fried a few slices of tofu. Added baby spinach for extra greens and a few kalamata olives from last night’s dinner. All seasoned with chilli flakes, olive oil, vineg...ar and, of course, salt and pepper. . It was pretty good and it made me pretty happy! I’d say mission has been accomplished . . Do you also like to improvise dinners with whatever you have in the fridge? Let me know of any useful tips for super quick and flavourful cooking, I am open to learning more . . How about trying to move to a more plant-based diet too?
