23.01.2022 We are ready for take-off! From this week, we will start balancing Family Tax Benefit (FTB) for the 2019-20 financial year. Most families will need to confirm ...their income for the 2019-20 financial year before we can balance FTB. When we balance your payments, we compare how much FTB you got with how much youre entitled to using your confirmed income. The best place to go for all the info about how balancing works is our website - www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/balancing If we didnt pay you enough during the year, we may pay you a top up. Well also work out if youre eligible for any supplements. If we think we paid you too much during the year, we wont finalise balancing your payments straight away. This is because weve paused a range of debt activities due to the coronavirus pandemic. You dont need to do anything well finish balancing your payments once the pause has ended.
