20.01.2022 Are you living in the present moment? Dharana is the sixth of the Eight Limbs of Yoga as described by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. Practicing dharana involves fixing the mind on a particular point (internal or external). It’s not so important what this point is that we are focusing on; the purpose is to quiet the mind with this total concentration. Ideally, we should remain in a state of Dharana throughout the entire day. Only focusing on the task at hand, only allowing the mind to stay where we want it to stay.
