25.01.2022 Due to the current climate and wanting to keep our community safe, the Forbes Easter Festival Commitee have regretfully decided to cancel the Easter Festival for 2020. But we will be back in 2021.

21.01.2022 BIG THANK YOU to Julie, Dietmar, Kerry, Rod, Cheryl, Greg, Alf, Shirley, Lee-ann, Jesse, Luke, David and Lyn for helping out at our Bunnings BBQ. We raised $765.85 towards Havannah House Christmas Lunch. HUGE THANK YOU TO BUNNINGS FORBES you guys are amazing.

15.01.2022 I can not believe how fast this year has gone, it seems to me that the older I get the faster the years go by. Now we are faced with another year to look forward to with opportunities that we don't even know about yet. We put the past behind into God's hands, to look towards an unknown future with hope, excitement and trust in a God who is already there. When Jesus left the disciples to ascend into Heaven to return to His Father He told His disciples that he would be with them always even to the end of the world. With that hope in Christ Jesus we have no fear. I pray that all have a Safe and happy New year. God bless you all Julie

03.01.2022 Christmas Message Christmas can be a lonely time for some people. In this financial climate, for some, it can be very stressful. When I was a child Christmas was not a happy time. My family always seemed to end up fighting and arguing which ruined Christmas for me and my siblings. Many people don’t like the commercialism of Christmas. Sadly, sometimes the true message of Christmas has been lost in the midst of the circumstances I have already mentioned.... So, what is the true meaning of Christmas? Christmas is all about giving not of gifts but of love. When Jesus was born in very humble circumstances, He gave up His heavenly home and His ability to be all powerful to become a man to show us what love really means. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for another. This is what Jesus came to do. Born to Mary He grew up to die on the cross for allno matter their gender, social standing, nationality or belief. Some may say well, I would die for my children or family or even a good friend. But no one would die for someone whom you felt did not deserve that type of sacrifice. But, Jesus did. Christmas is the message of unconditional love. If we accept the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, repent of our sin and ask Him into our life and grow in Him, the Christmas message of love will be with us for all eternity.
