25.01.2022 Thank you for your amazing support this year. It’s incredible to see Have A Nice Day toys being enjoyed by so many little ones in their homes. It’s why we do what we do! Behind the scenes, it’s been a busy year for us. We launched our new range of Mini Build & Play Sets in August to our retailers at our first Kids Instyle Trade Show. They were so well received that we are now stocked in almost 100 stores around Australia. With the new year right around the... corner, we're excited for so many great things we have planned for 2019 - including new products to complement our current range of wooden toys! 25.01.2022 There are some changes coming to Have A Nice Day which is very exciting for us but has been tough to make because they are at the core of how and why we started 3 years ago. What have we been up to? We had a really successful 2018 and it’s been business as usual behind the scenes this year.... What changed for us is that while working through our plans for 2019 and beyond we’ve realised that to grow Have A Nice Day to where we want it to be we will need another huge investment of time and money. With our young family with three small kids, we’ve been contemplating if we’re prepared to take that much time and energy away from them again this year. We love making the Classics range on the Gold Coast but that means long hours in the factory making the toys which take away from other aspects of our business too. We’ve been looking at outsourcing our Classics range of toys, as we did with our Mini range we released last year. As we began to prototype them we realised that we wanted to make them even more fun and educational. However, we want to put the right time and effort into doing this. We feel like we don't have the time or energy to get them right if we don't free up some time in our business. So we’ve made the decision to have a break from selling our toys at the end of the month with a plan to have a very considered and beautiful new range available in the future. Our online store will be closing on 31st May. To say thank you we have 20% OFF STOREWIDE. No code required. Available until sold out Once we close, you will still be able to purchase from all of our amazing stockists who have stock available. What does the future look like for Have A Nice Day? Although our toys are having a break we are excited to continue our DESIGN STUDIO where we love helping creative people bring their ideas to life. We'll also be working on a new range of wooden toys combining elements of our old favourites with exciting new features and designs. From our little family to yours... 14.01.2022 Eye spy.. Another one of our designs at Life Instyle! Bee (the skateboarding Mum) behind BEE + Bee Twomey creates the most amazing art then cuts them up into unique earrings for ladies looking to express their inner rebel. Punk rockers from the 80’s and 90’s unite ... Bee asked me to design a display for her earrings that was shipped flat and then easily assembled by her retailers. It really makes all of her bright and colourful earrings stand out in a store and Bee was stoked with the final design. Available in black or natural timber, there are already lots of these around Australia but after a successful Life Instyle, I’m sure there will be hundreds more in production soon!
