25.01.2022 One very excited lad tonight telling me all he knows about WWII and what he wants to know. We worked very well tonight covering Vocabulary, dates, significant people, Prime and composite numbers, elapsed time and division. Big smiles all around.

23.01.2022 Another great afternoon with 4 fantastic young men. Math Strategies, games, fun and laughter. A lot of relationship building, tens facts, doubles, area and multiplication. Well done boys on a fun filled, learner focused couple of hours.

21.01.2022 Its been awhile since I last updated a post here. The boys have almost finished their footy seasons which will mean Saturday and Sunday freedom. As of September I will be running one on one or small group writing work shops. If you are interested in your child increasing their stamina to write for longer periods, engage the reader and increase their vocabulary all whilst improving spelling and sentence structure. 15.01.2022 As a lot of you already know this last year has been pretty tough on the ole mind and body what with me being ill, my son constantly dislocating his knee and my dad being ill not to mention the stress in the work place. I just wanted to say thank you to those who have stuck it out with me and realise that it was not my intention to make you all feel like I let your children down. I needed to take care of me to be able to give my best to your kids. It is my intention to begi...n tutoring again. This will enable me to teach in the way I love: hands on, self directed by students and in a way that is fun and creative. My passion and dedication to kids has not changed, I want to be able to help any child to the best of my abiliy and hopefully get them to love learnigng as much as I do. If your child is misunderstood, if they are creative, hands on learners that hate to sit behind a desk and learn, if they want to be out of their seats, off their butts engaging in learning in a meaningful one on one or small group session, using scence, history, geography as a tool to improve literacy and numeracy, if your child struggles to spell.... Please let me help you bring some fun into their learning, games at home that all the family can play, interactive science lessons that will endevour to insight curiosity and wonder ( I am no Bill Nye the scientist guy but I try) and history and geography that I hope will develop a sense of wonder about the world. 01.01.2022 Hey all, it has been pretty quite around here for awhile... however.... I finish at DHHS on Friday and I am going to go back to relief teaching. Which means my afternoons will be opened back during the week to see all the lovely tutoring students that I had before and any new ones....bring on Friday.... looking forward to see old and new faces next week....
