25.01.2022 little bit of a soppy post.. but last night I was reminiscing on how insanely far the salon has come! this year is 3 years of Haven Beauty Bar and from the minute of opening it’s been a wild ride that I wouldn’t change for the world! we have survived and conquered so many things that no business owner would ever imagine.. so in celebration here are some pictures of the salon from purchase through to today, here we are in 2021 and I adore my little safe haven x

20.01.2022 Did you miss us? We are back in salon TODAY! Here’s a few changes (nothing drastic but I like to keep you guys in the know) - you need to sign in using the QR code before your treatment begins ... - loyalty cards are no longer half price on your 10th visit, they are now 20% off. This was a hard decision to make and it’s been discussed for a while now. 1/2 price on treatments that take us hours isn’t ideal - a new year always brings new and wonderful clients, but this means we get more booked out, especially lash extensions so as I always rant about, book in advance to avoid disappointment and ALWAYS book your infill can’t wait to see you guys! x

18.01.2022 NEW SALON POLICY Unfortunately it has had to come to this.. if you are requiring an appointment that timing wise is an hour or over (for example full sets of lashes, infills for lashes, lash lifts, or a large booking of multiple treatments) as of today it is SALON POLICY to secure the appointment with $20 that is NOT refundable if we aren’t notified 24 hours prior to cancelling. If you are asked to pay a deposit and we do not receive it within 24 hours your appointment is au...tomatically cancelled and given to the next person waiting. I’ve thought long and hard about this and this is the solution that works best for the salon. Thankyou everyone for your support on our last post, we honestly appreciate the 99.9% of you who do the right thing but it’s always the minor percentage that ruins it. Thanks guys

12.01.2022 This week has been A WEEK, I’ll tell ya that for nothin’, but today REALLY topped it off.. Today began with no internet, no eftpos and our beloved massage chair producing her final pedicure Today really turned around when my god send of a client and her amazing partner bloody drove to Lismore, selected a new chair for the salon, drove it back to the salon and even put it together for me! My heart is so full, I feel so blessed to be surrounded daily by our beautiful clients. The Christmas spirit is really around this year. I have received so many messages today that has really made our efforts truly worth all of the stress. I also really need to give Amber the biggest shout out, I’ve never met somebody who is the perfect calm to my storm. You’re amazing girl! I’m going to have a beer x

09.01.2022 Haven is a very busy salon that often is fully booked with clients on a waiting list. We thank you always for cooperating! When you book an appointment at Haven Beauty Bar, that appointment is reserved especially for you. Last minute cancellations and no shows leave gaps that cannot be filled without timely notice and prevents Carly from being able to accomodate other clients waiting for appointments.... - a $20 deposit is taken for lash services and is only refundable with 24 hours notice of the appointment being cancelled or rescheduled - deposits need to be paid at the time of making the reservation, if it isn’t received within 24 hours, the appointment is handed to the next waiting client - the deposit comes off of the total of your appointment - Carly suggests booking yourself a few infill appointments in advance, ESPECIALLY if you need a specific day or time - please arrive 5-10 minutes early to appointments, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to accomodate to late clients and we don’t want to turn people away or if you do think there’s a chance you’ll be late, please let us know - please ensure you’re coming to your appointments with clean lashes (both extensions and natural lashes) - please allow notice if you’d like to add to your appointment (e.g tinting, waxing etc) these sometimes cannot be squeezed in - infills need to have AT LEAST 40% of the lashes still attached for it to still be considered an infill appointment, if not a full set will need to be charged Our aim is to provide the best service possible, these FAIR PLAY rules are in place to help us help you.

If you know your day, your time and that’s suits you then get booking girlfriends! Also! Starting this week (I believe) the road between Casino and Lismore is about to begin some major roadworks SO please to our babes who travel from that direction, leave a little earlier if possible to avoid the delays! 04.01.2022 Happy Monday guys! I’m just popping on to remind you all that we have policies in salon for a reason. If you are asked to pay a deposit for an appointment (this is usually because it’s a large appointment or if you’ve previously not shown to an appointment) and we do not receive it within 24 hours, your appointment is automatically given to the next person. We should not have to chase deposits. Deposits also will only be refunded with 24 hours notice of cancellation or the ...deposit can be moved to another date (only with 24 hours notice). The deposit also comes off the total of your booked appointment amount. Thanks guys so much for cooperating so the salon can run to the best of it’s ability!

03.01.2022 Hey guys! I really really hate being a grumble bum but unfortunately today has really upset me. Today we had more no shows than I’ve experienced since opening as Haven Beauty Bar.. we are really easy to contact if you need to check your appointment date/time or to let us know you can’t make it.. it is SALON POLICY to allow us at least 24 hours notice (we understand emergencies pop up) you agree to that when making the appointment. I’m definitely having to tell myself that... it’s a bad day, not a bad forever I do not want to make it a policy that we need a deposit for ALL appointments, so please cooperate with what we ask appointment wise and then I don’t have to turn into an evil salon owner. We are super busy with things booking out weeks in advance and without notice we can’t always fill spots so people miss out if you don’t let us know. Thanks guys!
