25.01.2022 Who would love to WIN and outfit made by Me? Well start spreading the news peeps . WHO will the lucky person be? As my darling husband and I are not exactly sure when we are leaving to start settling into UK married life yet. Like everyone life is even more of an unknown at the moment. We are hoping for October but it may be Nov or even December! ... However one thing is for sure I will really miss my children, family and friends and my clients. To say THANK-YOU and to give back to beautiful North Queensland and Townsville we are going to be running a competition. David will get a shopping cart set up very soon where anyone and everyone can buy a $5 ticket which will get them one entry into the draw. That winning ticket will be for me to design and make the winner any OUTFIT for them or nominated person. ( DOES NOT include material). Entre as many times as you like..you never know you may have me making your wedding gown or formal dress for free! The outfit- wedding, formal, race outfit, ball gown, day wear, uniform etc can be whatever they want. It will be made in the weeks following the draw before we leave. Ticket will be drawn on September 16 at 6pm with a couple of local officials present. All money raised will be donated to the Townsville Women's Centre. ( This does not include any outfit currently underway or booked in. It is a completely new booking). 22.01.2022 A few years ago I got a call from a very well spoken lady asking if I'd be interested in making her daughter's graduation dress. As I love evening and bridal wear I jumped at the chance to make it. Little did I know that from that first gorgeous green silk formal gown that I would then go onto making Madeline's 3 sisters graduation gowns. #margotstanton thank you for coming into my world and giving me the opportunity to create these special pieces for your beautiful girls. 06.01.2022 A few weeks ago 2 things happened. My beautiful friend and hairdresser/ magician/stylist #jennymason asked if I could make a Melbourne outfit for her( is that still going ahead I ask) ( yes I really do not get out much. Lol) and received and email asking to get entries in for the designer Melbourne cup awards for 2020 ( we were not meant to be here so was not going to enter). Jen! Let's do this. Of course Jenny says..so I stupidly think I can make a gorgeous outfit for the C...up in 4 days while I still have grad dresses to do and others orders to fill. The Sunday before the cut-off I message Jenny and say, lovely I just need sleep, sorry but it will be ready for the #thevilleresort function. 2 colours I had to choose from Yellow or Lilac Jenny said. Well let's make it Lilac and lemon spring carnival. ( They are the opposite on the colour chart Jenny reminds me and that is why they go so well together. This girl knows her colours!). I didn't want to make it too Boo Peep looking. We love out funked up Victorian vibed creation. Joint effort. The Girl Rocks the outfit. Won't be challenging headwear specialist anytime soon but it's all part of the fun with designing for Ms Mason!

Gold Leaf, beading, exquisite silks and designs. I truly feel blessed. I was taken out of my comfort zone this year by a couple of the dresses, as I needed to learn and research new techniques and applications. As always, it really is the girls that make the gowns. Each young lady choosing a style that reflects them. I am so fortunate that I get to be a part of all this. Many many thanks all.
