23.01.2022 Not the best toss. Some days you just have to pack up, tuck your tail between your legs and head home. I broke the prop, motor mount, carbon fibre spar and wing mount all at the same time. I bet I can't do that again, nor do I want to, haha. Sometimes out in the field it just doesn't go your way. 15.01.2022 Stuff breaks I have been a remote pilot long enough to know that it's not if but when it will break. Don't be fooled into a false sense of security that because your aircraft has always flown that it's always going to. This is a motor wire connection that has just fatigued over time and 1 minute into a flight decided to fail. 12.01.2022 Hovering. It's still surprises me how far quadcopter technology has come in such a short period of time. I remember only a few short years ago ordering all the parts for my first quad. The electronics were very simple and you needed to tube them for your specific frame. Nowadays, the craft you buy off the shelf are very good and give the user heaps of confidence (sometimes too much).
