25.01.2022 Thali (meaning "plate") is now available from Lucky's Indian. A great way to try a variety of Lucky's different styles of curries. Seafood Thali is my favourite as it contains Prawn Masala and Fish Malabar curries.

23.01.2022 There is a change for the drink stall. Mr. Kwang has decided to stop Covet Milk Tea and instead will be full-time helping his mother with the Vietnamese stall. We are sorry to not be able to continue providing bubble milk teas and juices. The drink store will be going through some changes.... We will concentrate on having a larger range of soft drinks, iced teas and bottled watter. Beer and wine will be available/back real soon. We are looking at getting a proper "barrista" coffee machine. We are looking at providing pots of tea (priced per pot not per cup). Also feel free to ask for a glass of water, at the moment it will be boiled water until we get the Puratap filter installed. We hope youll have something nice to drink to accompany your meal so thank you again for sticking with us (also please leave any suggestions for can or bottled drinks you would like to see below :).

23.01.2022 Hawkers Corner is finally complete, we have Vickrams Luckys (Curry/Tandoori), Jacks Suwannabhum (Wok/Frying), and now Mrs. Quangs Thi Le (steam/soup/salads) and Covet Milk Tea (drinks). Hopefully, a little something for everyone :)

23.01.2022 Meet Chef Rani, she has been taking care of Luckys while Chef Vickram is visiting family in India. She is a master of indian pastries (samosa, pakora, naan). Her samosas are so large and tasty that it should be considered a main meal :) She also makes Samosa Chaat, one of the most popular street food in India, as a daily special. Chef Rani will be there another two more weeks before Chef Vickram returns, so take the chance to try something special :) Also feel free to ask h...er about Samosas and other pastries. One thing I learned was the secret to the flavour of pastry is Ghee, because ghee is clarified butter and has a much higher smoking point, so keeps the pastry moist and tasty in the tandori. If normal butter was used, it would burn and give a bitter taste :) Chef Rani has her own restaurant at Munno Para and travels 1 1/2 hours both ways to cook at both restaurants ! Chef Vickram certainly owes her a lot ;-) She gets help from chef Shankar who is an experienced cook.

As soon as it is possible, Hawkers Corner will be re-opened for business. --- Jack really wanted to carry on, but with the increased restrictions and especially sharp increases in costs (vegetables, meats) it just isnt viable. 15.01.2022 Hawkers Corner has a 3rd stall. Opening tomorrow Wednesday 13/11 is "Thi Le", a Vietnamese Cuisine stall. It is being operated by someone already familiar to regulars, Mrs. Quang. In fact, she was originally suppose to open the 3rd stall much earlier but wasnt quite ready until now.

14.01.2022 It's a bit sudden but Lucky's Tandoori Kitchen will be stopping this Thursday the 31st of October. Chef Vickram can no longer continue to run the shop as he has a lovely wife and a family of 7 kids that need him in India. So when he asked when he could stop, the management (we) didn't want to hold him to any date. We are very sad to see Vickram stop as he was one of the two stalls which relaunched Hawker's Corner in April 2018. So if you have time, please call in on Chef Vic...kram by Thursday, wish him well and have one more curry for the road. Suwannahbhum (Thai/Malaysian) and Thi Le (Vietnamese) will continue to operate as usual and we have already started the search for a new tenant.

08.01.2022 Patrick is here in Adelaide visiting from Denmark! This is his very first time eating Pad Thai, Satay Chicken, Fish Cake, Dim Sim and Prawn Toast! Apparently back in Denmark the only Asian food you can get is fried noodles or fried rice! Only the two options! It seems like he is enjoying the food here

They are taking every necessary precaution to minimize risks. So please come and support them. Please remember to stay at a reasonable distance when waiting in line, and please stay at home if you are unwell. We are really sorry we didnt cope very well and there were some long waits. We hope the pageant was lots of fun, and you got to see Santa Claus. Only 45 days to Christmas ... :).
