17.01.2022 From 16 March 2020, Swimming NSW advises against hosting any swimming competition in NSW for a period of 30 days. This puts an end to a great season. The committee will meet and decide on Presentation Night ideas if the shutdown extends into May. More info to come but let’s keep the date for Preso night intact for now: 6pm on Friday 8th May at the Richmond Pool clubhouse. It’s been a smashing season. Thanks to you all for your commitment and love of a great club - Hawkesbury... Amateur Swimming Club. Cheers. See you soon. See more

16.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS: club night is on! We are going to start with the 200 Medley championships and then resume with the rest of the program (free/breast/back + fly). Apologies to parents of little ones - we just want to make sure we get this final championship race done. It would be great to have timekeepers ready to go at 6:30 so we can get through as much as possible before the heavens open. Reminder - no sausage sizzle tonight. If you have decided not to come please let me know ASAP - so I can take your kids out of the program. Thanks, Fiona

12.01.2022 ***EDIT - I've created a new event in Swim Central to allow for five entries - I couldn't delete the previous event so I've just closed it. So just go into the active event for the 19/03/21 and put in your entries. Any issues let me know. If you already the entered the previous event can I please ask that you re-enter and we can refund your championship money on club night. Thanks for bearing with me. Cheers, Fiona *** Entries for Friday are now up on Swim Central. 200 Age Medley Champs plus 25/33/50/100 Free, Breast, Back and Fly (non championship races). As it’s potentially a long night with all the Medleys you might prefer to enter 50s instead of 100s to help speed things up. Maximum 5 events and only one sprint per stroke (and 100 is considered a sprint). ***

07.01.2022 **Sponsor shirts** We would love to get some sponsor shirts happening. We are thinking if we can get several sponsors organised. Packages would be $500 for a large logo (30x15cm) or $250 for a small logo (15x10cm) These would all be placed on a light weight microfibre polo. We could fit up to 12 different logos. Every registered swim member would get one, so around 80 people walking around the Hawkesbury in them with your logo on it. Sponsors will get their very own shirt also. So if you have a business or know someone who does, put it out there and lets get some club shirts happening.
06.01.2022 Any perpetual trophies that still need to be handed in, can be dropped at the pools. If that could be done by next week, please. So we can prepare for presentation. 03.01.2022 We have had a few questions in regards to carnivals. Carnivals are displayed on swimming nsw website under events. We can only enter club events we are affiliated with. If there is an event you would like to attend but cannot join, let us know and we can add an affiliation. There are some circumstances due to covid where we can’t. Carnivals can be entered the same way we enter our club night
