Trials will be conducted as follows: Trial #1: Saturday 18th July, 12:30-3pm @ Bensons Lane, Richmond.... Only returning Hawkesbury 19/20 Green Shield players, HDCA 19/20 Moore Shield & Weblin Shield, & Country Players. Other players by Invitation only. Trial #2: Saturday 25th July 11:30am-2pm @ Bensons Lane, Richmond. Depending on the number of nominations, a second session may be held 2-4pm. All eligible players. Trial #3: Sun 2nd August: 12:30-3pm @ Bensons Lane, Richmond. By invitation only. Players must nominate in advance of trials. 17.01.2022 After being involved in a horrible accident at the start of this year, Hawkesbury Junior Rep and member of the Hawks Cricket Academy - Ethan Dahms walked into Bensons lane today to be greeted by the Hawks. Presented with a bat by our first grade captain Dale McKay, it was great to see Ethan on his feet after making an amazing recovery. KTFH

16.01.2022 Good Morning Hawks: Great News - The newly renovated RG McGees Hotel in Richmond have come on board this year as a sponsor. This great, central location will be our "Go-TO" venue after training and games. To kick things off - Due to Covid restrictions, last seasons presentation was not able to go ahead. The Club will be presenting last seasons awards tomorrow - Sunday 16 Aug, at RG McGees after training commencing about 1.00pm. The actual presentation should only take about... 30 minutes but we would like to invite all returning and new players, their families and friends to join us and begin what the Club hopes to be a long and happy connection with RG McGees. 15.01.2022 GREEN SHIELD TRIALS Because of the evolving COVID situation and the rain forecast for this weekend, we have decided to cancel the open Green Shield Trial planned for this Sat 25th July. We will hold an invitation-only trial on Sunday 2nd August at 12:30pm @ Bensons Lane, Richmond. 10.01.2022 There have been a few questions asked recently about the Pre-Season. I will re-post what went out through the group chat on 5 August. This means that if you have not already been notified you will at this stage fall into Group 2. Attention all Players. The club has now officially been notified of the revised season starting dates due to ground availabilities around COVID. ... 1st & 2nd grade will start as usual on the 26th September 3rd to 6th grade will now not start until 31st October What this means for our Preseason- The training group will be now be broken into 2 Groups. Group 1 - will be made up of approx 30 Higher Grade players, all with the potential of being selected to start round 1 in 1st or 2nd Grade. This group will continue the preseason as per normal (revised schedule has already been posted please scroll for that) Group 2 - will be our development players and the balance of the senior players. This group will now not start preseason until 23rd September (see revised schedule already posted previously) Our players and families health is most important to our club during these testing times and we feel by reducing the numbers at each session for at least the next month or so will help keep us CovidSafe. At the same time keep our players that are starting later fresh. IMPORTANT NOTE - Players in GROUP 1 only will be notified in the next 24hrs. Otherwise please assume you are in GROUP 2 Thanks for your understanding.
