17.01.2022 The Hawkesbury Marketplace is an online platform for businesses to sell their products. It was founded by William Potter and Joshua Gorman who grew up together locally in North Richmond. The duo first got into coding in a High School coding competition run by NASA and MIT, where their team earned 19th out of 300 international teams. Josh is currently completing a Computer Science Degree at Western Sydney University.... They were empowered to see how they could use their technical expertise to help Hawkesbury businesses through the coronavirus crisis that was sending many people bankrupt and into unemployment. Going online for many businesses is very expensive and very difficult to do. By creating The Hawkesbury Marketplace, Josh and Will aimed to take this needless cost and hassle away for our locals.
