25.01.2022 Just arrived at Hawkeye Models for proofing of the C-54/DC-4 decal range, busy few weeks ahead as the range is redesigned to fit this amazing kit, if you wish to order any of these decals please place a capital R after the product code, e.g. CDS-200R. Many thanks to Revell Germany for the review kits. If you are ordering for Mach 2 kit please order like normal, e.g. CDS-200. Thanks.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, One of the new Caracal Decal sets that arrived today is the 1/48 Mirage III Over Australia sheet, this sheet is designed and test fitted for the new 1/48 Kinetic kit and includes more than twenty plus decal options for RAAF Mirages and comprehensive stencil data for one Aircraft plus other items like the Matra Missile. Decals have been printed to a very high standard by very well known printing companys Cartograf and Microscale Decals. We have also secured extr...a Stencil Data decal sheets for those wanting to build more than one aircraft from the main sheet and these will be available at a great price when purchased together with the main sheet. Due to these sheets arriving we also now have Decal and kit bundle offers available. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just an update on the new decals 1/48 Mirage Decals produced by Caracal Models, they will be available through Hawkeye Models Australia early to mid August, these are designed for the new Kinetic Mirage kit and includes plenty of options in the set, like all there other decal sets they have been beautifully screen printed to a very high standard by Cartograf, Caracal has provided us with the below images of the decals freshly back from the printer. 05.01.2022 This was a 1/60 model used by an airline (not Qantas) for promotional purposes. It was in pretty bad condition, with lots of chips and scratches. A decision was made that rather spend a large amount of time bringing the airframe back to new the best bang for buck timewise in order to create a presentable display piece would be to sand-back, repaint and decal in an attractive and distinctive livery. With the help of Hawkeye Models who provided the decals the model is now a...n attractive discussion piece, even if a little poetic licence has been taken. Knowledgeable spotters will notice the RR engines are not correct for VH-EBA.....however rego EBA and a non-combi design was thought to be more attractive. For the record the model police car in one of the photos is a standard Hot Wheels/Matchbox type for scale reference. Damian Nixon.
