25.01.2022 Recently, Dr Pohl completed the OrthoEd Module 7 course on skeletal orthodontic issues. The course focused on complex issues of over bites, alongside transverse discrepancies such as cross bites and under bites.

24.01.2022 Today we had a visit from Ellery, who came to see Dr Pohl for a preventative care appointment. Not only did she give us a lovely smile upon completion, she told Dr Pohl that her visit was fun .

16.01.2022 COVID-19 SERVICES UPDATE The Australian Dental Association has now advised that practices may return to providing all dental services. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will maintain a strict level of caution surrounding appointments and procedures. Namely, we will be screening every patient upon entry using a contactless thermometer and ensuring hand sanitiser is used by all who enter our practice, in an attempt to minimise risk to patients, staff and the community. ... We must also adhere to the national social distancing protocols, and have responded by allowing longer appointment times and zero crossover between patients. Further efforts to reduce risk and ensure safety include pre-procedural mouthwash and use of PPE. Whilst times are strange, we are happy that we may now offer our services to you again, and we thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during the pandemic. 12.01.2022 Be aware, now and always. World Mental Health Day

11.01.2022 Jacqui, a patient of ours, recently had an accident and tragically broke her two upper front teeth. She was extremely concerned that following her accident, her teeth would never look the same again. After a few visits to Dr Pohl, she has now fully recovered and her teeth now look as nice as they did prior to her accident. We are so glad to have had the opportunity to help Jacqui, and to see her fantastic recovery!

As you can imagine, this brings great uncertainty as we await advice regarding our practice over the next 6 weeks. At this stage, we are continuing business as usual, until we hear otherwise from the Australian Dental Association. We will proceed with upmost caution, with tight restrictions on patient numbers in the surgery, temperature testing upon entry, and increased use of PPE....
