21.01.2022 North Queensland First has a clear and concise plan for Townsville's and wider NQ's crime problem! 500 extra police officers to be implemented from Rockhampton to the Cape. The ALP's bail houses axed with the addition of 24/7 monitoring of youth offenders by youth justice taking pressure off our QPF officers. We also want to see the reintroduction of high-speed pursuits when and where required and the public sex offenders register to be set up. This can only happen under NQ F...irst the only party in North Queensland with a real common-sense approach that will see results. I'm sick to death of reading and watching the news and seeing just another crime being committed, its time to hit our crime problem right on the head and stop it for good! Time to give our QPF the powers & resources they need to get their job done because currently they are seriously hindered and overstretched. Nothing was done under the LNP or the ALP that is why it is time for a minor party to get in and get the bloody job done. 09.01.2022 Four deaths on the bruce highway in the past 48 hours. Proposed upgrades caught in red tape, this just makes me angry. Brisbane continues to get tunnels, overpasses & quad lanes, While central, north and far north Queensland is stuck with single lanes and old goat tracks for highways. Enough is enough, there is more to Queensland than just Brisbane. Our poor quality roads are costing transport companies thousands of dollars every month in repairs. They are also costing peopl...es lives! Everyone deserves to go home to their families. The time has come to build North Queensland to set us up for the future. There are approximately one million residents here in Central, North and Far North Queensland and our infrastructure is still stuck in 1987 it's time to fast forward to 2020 we have to get building!

05.01.2022 A blatant attack on the industry. Change the legislation to not fine drives for mistakes, it's costing drivers hundreds and thousands of dollars in fines. I'm up in arms the industry doesn't need more policing, nothing but revenue raising if you ask me! The United Transport Group is devoted to changing key legislation to assist businesses and drivers to streamline their services for the nation it's time to stand up for your job and industry. Let's dual carriageway it from Cairns to Brisbane all Local, State and Federal politicians need to stand up and make their voice heard.
