17.01.2022 ATTENTION EMPLOYERS - there have been some changes to Australian Modern Awards as of 1st March 2020. Many businesses will need to review employment contracts and update their HR and payroll practices. A few of the tasks that will now apply to an enlarged group of 22 modern awards include: ANNUAL calculations of what the employees would have been paid under the award compared with the annualised wage actually paid. RECORDING start and finish times, as well as any unpaid breaks... taken by each employee subject to an annualised wage arrangement. RECORDS must be signed by employees or acknowledged as correct in writing (including electronic methods) with each pay period/roster cycle. For more information on this have a look at the Fairwork post: https://www.fairwork.gov.au//new-rules-for-annualised-wage Please make sure you contact Fairwork or your HR Experts to ensure you are compliant with these new changes.

16.01.2022 Reminder to make sure you are paying your employees in line with the minimum wage increases (3 groups of awards - 1st July 2020, 1st Nov 2020, 1st Feb 2021)...
