25.01.2022 we are still having our daily moving sale..all outdoors...no people about...so pop out or if you see something you want let me know...open at about 9am..close at about 4p.m.

24.01.2022 Going to miss so much in the Derwent valley...and this magnificent river is on top of the list...I've walked and run along some of the worlds most famous rivers and I dont think they hold a candle to the mighty derwent

So if you would like to Say goodbye to the lodge..or Miss Hoo or me or you just feel like a hit of my scones (like little Nate in the picture)...feel free to book in a high tea or a devonshire tea this Saturday or Sunday from 11am. PS totally virus free out here and tables are about 1.5 metres apart and outside..if that helps!!

12.01.2022 (please feel free to unlike us! as I will be posting massive pics of our moving sale ) Hawthorn Lodge and the Lazy Tearooms are officially closed. We planned to have a huge moving and garage sale next weekend. However due to crowd gatherings being forbidden, we are kicking off our huge moving sale today and will continue until all sold. That way anyone can come out when it suits and hopefully no crowds..plus it's all outdoors or in our large sheds. I will be posting picture...s up on the hawthorn lodge Facebook page all week..if there is anything you would like let me know..there are no holds but we can take credit card payments over the phone and set things aside for you. call Marie on 0362861240..or text me on 0417626961. 07.01.2022 Hi all..just letting you know the lazy tearooms are fully booked this Saturday the 22nd and booked out until 2pm on Sunday 23rd. With only 5 weekends to go..we really do reccomend booking to secure a table..

If I've ever thought my scones were never really appreciated I can look on this beautiful picture and know that someone out there thinks they are the best in the world! That someone is Nate, we are going to miss him and his beautiful family visiting us at hawthorn lodge...

02.01.2022 Fruit Stall open. If you are coming to Bushy Park Show on Saturday please do drive in to our fruit stall. We have pears, plums, apples, tomatoes and peaches. All just picked and just $2 a bag or punnett.
