23.01.2022 Hello Church Family, You may have heard the news that with restrictions easing again on Friday 19th June we are able to have more people attend our Sunday worship services in person. Our Chapel has a 52 person capacity (with a 4 square meter per person allowance) and GROOVY (our childrens programme) will either be held in the Prayer Room (12 person capacity) or Hall (35 person capacity). This means there is more than enough room for all of us to come and fellowship together ...and we look forward to being with everyone again! We still need to do our best to care for our community and do what we can to limit the possibility of spreading disease so the following steps must be followed: - Sanitise your hands upon arrival in the Foyer with the hand sanitiser provided and fill in your contact details an the attendance list for contact tracing purposes. - Greet each other with a wave and hello from a 1.5m distance (no handshakes, hugs, high fives, elbow or fist bumps). - The pews have been spaced out 1.5m apart. People from the same household are allowed to sit together on a pew but they need to be 1.5m away from others. Use the red tape placed at 1.5m intervals on the tops of the pews as a gauge for how far apart you need to be. - We will be partaking in Communion but wont be served in our seats. The elements will be in individual cups on the Communion table (one for the bread and one for the juice). People will come down the center aisle, one row at time keeping their distance, take their two cups and head back to their seats up the outside aisle. When everyone is finished partaking please return the glasses in the same way. - We encourage everyone to give offering via internet banking but if you cannot then when you return the Communion glasses you can place your offering in the bag up the front. - There will be no Morning Tea after the service but you are welcome to stay and catch up. If you have any questions or concerns then please feel free to contact me. We understand that there are those who are not comfortable to return to church services in person yet and so we will still prerecord the service and send out the playlist. If you have any prayer requests or needs please let me know. I look forward to seeing you soon! May God bless you, Paul van Vuuren

03.01.2022 Today, 5 March 2021, we mark the World Day of Prayer. This year, the featured country is Vanuatu, with the theme Building on a Strong Foundation. In Matthews 7: 24-27 Jesus tells a story about the kingdom of heaven using the image of a house and the land on which the house is built. Choosing the land on which to build the house is an important decision for people in Vanuatu. This notion is beautifully illustrated in this artwork by well-known Vanuatu artist, Juliette Pita.
