16.01.2022 GOOGLE REVIEWS. Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to leave us a review. We all love reading and sharing them and we take all feedback on board to ensure we can deliver the best service possible. Hawthorn East Vet has 97 Google reviews! Kew Vet has 77! We would love to get to 100 for both clinics..... If you have a moment we would be so appreciative if you could share a review. As a small independent business these reviews really help us. 14.01.2022 Victoria Road is being resurfaced tomorrow (Tuesday 27th October) and our Hawthorn East Vet driveway won’t be accessible until after 2pm. Please factor in some extra time if you are visiting us at HEV.

13.01.2022 The past 6 months have been tough for everyone. Our teams have worked tirelessly in difficult circumstances to care for all our patients and clients, managing contactless consults and an increased demand for our services. We are so proud of them and lucky to have such amazing people. But the truth is, we are all tired. ... To give all of our staff a long weekend to relax and refresh we will be closing Kew Vet and Hawthorn East Vet NEXT WEEKEND from 1pm Saturday October 10th and reopening 8am Tuesday October 13th. We really appreciate your understanding. We know working contactless has been tough on you, our clients as well. So thank you. We want to be our best to care for your pets, and our team’s wellness is everything to us. If your pet requires emergency treatment during this time, please phone CARE (Centre for Animal and Referral and Emergency) in Collingwood on 9417 6417.

10.01.2022 It’s that time of year - baby birds (fledglings) leaving the nest and learning to fly . Do you know what to do if you see a baby bird? Wildlife Victoria have let us know that they have been a bit overwhelmed with a large number of fledglings brought in for care. Often the best action is to leave them alone, if they are not in immediate danger, as their parents are nearby more often than not. Read our blog for more information. http://hawthorneastvet.com.au/2017/09/05/fledglings/

10.01.2022 It’s bouncing babies all around. Our team have welcomed (or are about to welcome) 7 babies in the past 12 months. Exciting times! This means that we are looking for another vet and two experienced nurses to complete our teams at Alphington, Kew and Hawthorn East. If you know anyone you think would be a great fit get them to email [email protected]
