16.01.2022 Day #2 Kununurrara to Broome. A fairly uneventful day on the road, although we were held up with some roadworks but still made good time. We decided to stay at Roebuck plains roadhouse so we didn't have an extra 40 odd kms to do in the morning. We ventured into Broome and had a few quiet drinks at Matsos Brewery then onto Divers tavern. We took a drive along the beach at Cable beach before heading back to the roadhouse for dinner and an early night. Heading to Karatha tomorrow and will do some exploring on the way.

16.01.2022 Exmouth ceranily didn't disappoint. We took a drive through the Cape Range National park (4WD only) which had some pretty amazing views over the gorges looking out to the coast. The microlight was super cool. We saw turtles and manta rays and I even got to have a go of steering it once the engine shut off - it just glides along. The guys at Birds eye view were amazing and I'd highly recommend it!

08.01.2022 EXMOUTH WA! This place is incredible! A sleepy coastal town of about 2500 people. Everything about this place is phenomenal. The people are super friendly, food was delicious and the scenery amazing! I could move here in a heartbeat! We went snorkelling at Turquoise Bay which only had one other group of people there. The water was crystal clear and the fish were abundant. We saw a stingray and it was pretty cool.... Day 2 - we headed to the oyster stacks. This was even more beautiful than Turquoise Bay. We were snorkelling only a few metres off shore and there are no words to describe how incredible it was. The fish were much bigger and the visibility was perfect. Some fish were up to 60-80cm long with heaps of different colours. After a few hours here we headed to Sandy Bay "for a quick look". This is my new favourite place on earth. So glad we went. No snorkelling here but the beach was simply amazing. The water was clear for kilometres. Glad we packed the esky this day as we sat in the ocean for hours. We saw a reef shark, schools of fish being chased by dolphins and a turtle swam right by us. We were so lucky to have our good friends Glenn & Naomi with us as we all said it was one of our best days ever! So much fun & laughter. After a day in the sun and we were exhausted and all badly burnt however we headed to the Whalebone Brewery to finish the day off. Highly recommended!
