Did you know that Massage can reduce tightness and tension in your neck and head that may be the cause of your headaches. ... There is a group of muscles at the back of your head called the subocciptal muscles which are famous for causing your headaches . Other neck and head muscles such as your trapezius, sternocleidomastoid, scalenes and levator scapulae all play a part in headaches when they are tight. 23.01.2022 Yesterday I had the chance to expand more to my knowledge by taking part in The Kinesiology Rocktape workshop. Was an awesome day learning about the ways to apply rocktape to your body. The day included learning how rocktape works with your muscles, the effects it has, the right application of tape and the right pressure to apply to help either support muscles or reduce pain. ... The benefits of Rocktape are endless and the minute it touches your skin you feel it’s affects instantly. Rocktape allows for : - better flow of lymphatic and superficial blood flow - allows better gliding between tissue layers - Decreases pressure which decreases the pain receptors in your muscles It’s great to now be able to take this all away with me and start using it on you guys.

18.01.2022 Do you suffer from lower back pain Well did you know that tight hamstring muscles are a common contributor to lower back pain. Your hamstrings run down the back of your legs from the hip down to the back of the knee, allowing you to be able to bend your knee and extend your hips. ... When your hamstrings are tight they pull on the lower back. The constant pull of these tight muscles forces the lumbar spine into a forward bent posture. This causes the hips and pelvis to rotate backwards leading to a flattened lower back. A lower back that is either over-arched or flattened stresses the lower back muscles and often leads to muscle weakness and pain. But nothing that can’t be fix with a bit of stretches The following stretches below can gradually lengthen and reduce tension in the hamstring muscle, and in turn reduce stress felt in the lower back. Easy to do at home you just need to make the time. Hold each stretch for 15 seconds and repeat 3x STRETCH #1: Find a chair or a step or a ledge that’s at a reasonable height for you and place your leg on it. Rest your hands on your thigh. You may already feel a stretch here and that’s great hold it. If you can go further slowly slide your hands down your leg to feel a deeper stretch. Remember to keep your back straight STRETCH #2: Use a towel and place around your feet. Lay your legs straight. Keep your back straight and pull on the towels to feel a nice stretch to your hammies. STRETCH #3: Sit on the floor, bend on leg in towards your inner thigh and have your other leg straight. Place hands on your thigh if you feel a stretch here that’s great just hold it. If you can go further slowly slide your hands down as far as you got. See if you can touch your toes

05.01.2022 Anywhere I go, Massage goes Even in Melbourne I was putting my skills to work. My Aunty had a stress fracture in her left foot/ankle and had been in pain doing her normal routine . She stopped her morning walks because of it and even struggled to take the dog for a walk. She had been seeing a podiatrist but wasn’t really achieving great results.
