19.01.2022 MEET OUR MAGPIES 2021! Toby Whitehead is back in Hay working and the return of the brilliant attacking skills will be a ‘god send’ for the Club. Toby has spent the past couple of seasons playing alongside his brothers Jake and Matty at Eden (Group 16) and South Newcastle Lions in the Newcastle competition.... Toby was a champion in the Magpies Junior teams as he made his way through the ranks. He is a tough competitor with the traits of his father Dean, and siblings Jake and Matty. He has had a taste of First Grade with Hay Magpies, and returns to the Club as the ‘complete package Excited to have Toby back, looking forward to seeing what he can do!

18.01.2022 Wheelchair ‘come and try’ in Wagga to be run in conjunction with the NRL game in May. Currently there are 6 players participating in the Canberra competition! Head down to Bolton Park and check it out.

We invite all that have an interest in the Club and it’s future success. All Positions will be made vacant and we are welcome any new members. ... 12.01.2022 MEET OUR MAGPIES 2021! Tim Lomai has been appointed co-coach of the Magpies First grade team for the 2021 season and has a wealth of experience to pass onto the players. Lomai was named the Group 20 Prop of the Year'' in 2019, his first year with the Club. He brings a wealth of experience to the Club, with a couple of Tests with the PNG Kumuls, a premiership in the strong PNG First Grade competition, two seasons with the PNG Hunters in the Premier Queensland State Cup compet...ition. Timmy was twice selected in the PNG Prime Minister's XIII team which played against an almost international Australian Prime Ministers XIII. He is equally at home in the front or back row in the forwards, and will give the Magpies a strong look up front. Talent, skill and heart makes for a a great addition to the Magpies.

04.01.2022 We are still looking for a single, couple or a group to represent the Hay Magpies in the Dancing with the Stars competition to be held in February 2021. This event is being hosted by the Hay High Achievers Group and we would love to see some Magpies compete for the title! There is plenty of options for a routine, make it up or copy a well known dance from a movie or a popular song routine. It’s up to you. If you would like to participate in this night please message the Magpies.
