25.01.2022 Plenty of work happening around the grounds of the Show Ground over the last 12 months - with more to come! New installation of toilets & showers at the pavillion, upgrade of the existing mens/ladies toilets, Bev Booth bar revamp and the laying of concrete in the area near the bar and kiosk.

23.01.2022 We are OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Did you know that the open space of the Show arena is available for use by sporting groups, to run events or hold training? The pavilion and kiosk are also available to hire for parties, fundraisers and events, simply inbox us or contact Treasurer Jill Chapman or Secretary Krista Schade.

21.01.2022 Need a camp site for an over night stay? Need somewhere to camp and stable your horses while in Hay? The Hay Show Ground has all the amenities you need. We now use the honesty box system. Just pay your fees, complete a receipt and envelope and enjoy the rest of your stay!

21.01.2022 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SOUGHT; PRAIRIE LODGE STABLES Tenders are sought for the annual lease of Prairie Lodge stables at Hay Showgrounds. The stables are offered in as is condition, and the successful tenderer will be expected to make improvements throughout the lease period. Tenders must include the following information or attachments:... Dollar value of tender for 12 months Timeline for improvement works which will be undertaken during the 12 month period. Plans and / or photographs will add weight to application. Evidence of NSW Racing licence, if available. Evidence of current public liability insurance to $20 million, or willingness to obtain. (NB: successful tenderer shall not be permitted to take occupancy until a) a Certificate of Currency for $20 million public liability insurance is provided, and b) three months lease fees paid in advance). Two written personal, employment or business references. Tenderers who do not hold a current NSW Racing licence should be aware that if a licenced trainer requires the stables during the lease period, the unlicenced leaser shall be given 30 days written notice to vacate the stables, and any fees paid in advance shall be refunded. Tenders should be forwarded to: The Secretary, Hay Showground Trust, PO Box 65 Hay NSW 2711 or [email protected]. The Trust reserves the right to accept any tender it feels best suits the user group of Hay Showgrounds. Closing Date: Sunday May 20, 2018.

Grounds supervisor: Barry Nisbet The Management Committee is made up of reps from all the user groups of the Showgrounds: Hay JockeyClub, Hay Show Society, Hay Rodeo Club, Hay Pony Club, Hay BnS, CanAssist Hay, Hay Sheep Show and Hay Gun Club. Our name has changed to Hay Showgrounds Management Committee to better reflect the role we play at the Showgrounds. Were keen to know if there are any interested gardeners or willing volunteers to establish a Showgrounds gardening club - inbox us or contact any of the executive committee.
